15mm Kyrenean Greek Chariots?

Post by wilf12358 » Wed Dec 26, 2012 11:32 pm

Hi All,

After a long hiatus, I'm getting back into FoG, wanting to morph my Xyston Classical Greeks into Kyreneans.
So, I'm looking at the army list and noting lots of chariots.
Preliminary research suggests Libyan / Early Carthaginian - 4 horse.

Which manufacturer provides the best sculpts?
Unfortunatley Xyston only do Persian & Indian chariots.
I'm aware Old Glory do some (Liby-Phoenician, also Essex, but what would my fellow Greek colonists recommend?!

Cheers!
Wilf

For the early Carthaginians I used the Xyston Persian Chariots with Carthaginian Infantry converted (bases filed down!!) into crew and the scythes left off. I've no idea how accurate they are, but they look impressive, if I do say so myself 8)

I used the old glory Carthaginian chariots for my Kyrenean Greeks. I used Greek crew made for leftover Greek spearmen.
