I would rather an open comp. Pikes and lances remove the armies that were in my Roman fest that had just become slightly viable. LCh

Is it not possible to umpire remotely?
I'll be there if you need an umpire. (marginally better than having a remote umpire)

Just to quell people's fears, I can confirm I am the umpire

The elves at Firestorm Games tell me we have currently 7 teams entered for Godendag this year:

1 - Martyn Simpson + 1
2 - Jon Akers +1
3 - JOHN PATRICK +1
4 - David Fairhurst +1
5 - steven brown + 1
6 - Steve Murton +1
7 - Dave Ruddock +1

Would of course be good to get to 8 teams - entries at https://www.firestormgames.co.uk/index. ... h=godendag

Just noticed something on the entry details.

It states 40% of bases must be shock or elephants.

I strongly believe this should be points and not bases and am going to interpret as such when just checking.

Just to stop Dave's ridiculous tantrums:
40% of troop bases, specifically excluding Generals and Camp from the count of bases

The idea was to encourage Shock troops not elephants, which in effect stop things being shock as troops don't have to charge when near them
