Well the new army is currently sitting at 80% complete basho goers, and still not a dart near the bullseye on what it might be. Nice ranging arrow but no coconut. 5 weeks to go and the RHB worthies will no doubt be hauling out the bunting and welcome placards as we speak.

Neither GD. Did toy with Mayan but thought they'd be pants in open. The new army will be able to carry out operations in all the terrain types.

Morning
We are up to 16 with the addition of Bob Amey and Bob Middlemist
There is still plenty of room for others who would prefer a fun 900pts singles comp, with a twist, rather than a trek to the midlands to only use half an army...
Hunter's mystery army remains just so... altho the clue.. a taste of eastern promise.. remains somewhat misleading..... as a. its not Turkish delight and b east is relative to where you are standing... ah I have it.... technically thrace is not east

Excellent news Navi. The army is decidedly not Thracian. And it IS East AND West of Perth.

Chris Proudfoot has declared he is available for selection so that makes 17.... John Edwards in number 18 as long as his wife does not 'drop the twins' before 24 Oct!!
Chris Finnegan is still being enigmatic with his caravan and we are still awaiting contact.
Paul Dawson is available for Saturday only so if someone wanted to come along for sunday only we may have a 'pairing there'
but plenty of room for other players still too.....
army lists in 2 weeks beforehand pls... which is 7th oct by my reckoning

Great. I hope to have the new army just about ready by 7th October although some hoplite rebasing for MEG has interposed itself on my programme. How does this fancy new terrain thing work then Paul? Do you how us the maps before army lists are due in or only on the day?

The black lining commenced last night folks so it looks like the new army will be making a debut (and probably a swan song) at the basho. I say new but this is the third time I have painted this bloomin army. Seems like you hanker after another one the moment you've had one .........

My decidedly average list is in folks. My only concession to the rules relaxation was to appoint myself as an IC CIC! Well what oriental despot wouldn't!

Is that dice + pre battle initiative as in a normal game?navigator wrote:Bayfog VIII
Players will roll for initiative and winner can choose which side of the table they wish to play from.
(Or give the initiative away)
