Re: The Worlds 2016
I think that the website is updated manually, as and when. Or at least, that's how I got marked as paid. I guess that Martin will be busy this weekend, updating army choices and so on..

Re: The Worlds 2016
dave_r, It is FoGR rather than FoG:AM but there is a whole book of armies covering the 80 Years War which was about proving there IS a differrence between the Netherlands and Belgium...

Re: The Worlds 2016
The Scots are British, as are the Welsh English Irish Manx Scilly and Channel Isles. British is a geographical thing caused by being in the British Isles. Not a political thing which has caused the borders to move over the years

Re: The Worlds 2016
Note that the website has been updated, and now shows those whose army lists have arrived. However, my submitted army is Early Successor not Skythian as originally picked and still shown.
Need to get off my arse and finish painting the Skythians...

Re: The Worlds 2016
Accurate runner & riders are usually published once all lists are in and checked. That's why we still have so may HYW English - the default setting - not the armies we are likely to be bringing. However, my submitted army is Early Successor not Skythian as originally picked and still shown.

Re: The Worlds 2016
On the website it gives a list (me included) of "sign up not final yet". However, I've completed the sign up form, paypal confirms my payment was made in May and I have sent my list to Martin (though have not had a reply from him). Anyone got any idea what I need to do to finalise the sign up?

Re: The Worlds 2016
I don't think you need to do any more Graham. Once Martin has checked your list I guess he will manually change the record - so you will join the 18 of us who are 'signed in'.
Likewise on the money - I paid in May and received an acknowledgement - but the website still says I haven't paid. I'm sure it will be alright on the night - just give them a bit more time to iron out the wrinkles.

good evening for the worlds
BRING & BUY'll organize
the rules of the bring & buy:
a list must be made in advance to the person who'll manage it and yes they are all alone
the listing in duplicate one for you and one for management
each produce will have to have a code, the title of the produce, the price, a space to note if it sold.
your name,
a label will have to be glued to the object or military sale
that the costs bruing & buy, we ask 10% of the value of the object sold with up to 10 € for an object, army figurine group sold lot
eg a 15mm size building sold € 15 = 1.5 €
an army painted € 220 = 10 €
do not forget that the boys will be all alone so plan early enough to take your goods to not be late for your flying, boat train, penny submarine, space shuttle;)
we can not be held responsible for stealing or damage committed on the produce on sale
good to you
hugo

I'm listed as 'sign up not final'. Why? I've paid and sent my army list.

Re: The Worlds 2016
We are both in that position Alan; however we are both noted as having paid. I have also sent my army list in a week ago, and have had nothing back from Martin, so I assume that there is a delay updating the website.AlanCutner wrote:I'm listed as 'sign up not final'. Why? Heard from Martin earlier today. For some reason he hadn't received my list. He has now, and approved it.

What times are people arriving? I should be at the hotel about 19:30. Wondering if anyone else will be around for a drink.
