As always the Burton Club organise a great competition.
Enjoyed all four games even when losing badly and Peter complaining that I should have been shooting the enemy with my bow armed LH and cavalry.
Thanks to the Burton club

Re: Burton Doubles 2017
If anyone wanted to know and even if you didn't
1st me and Dave
2nd Andy and Kev Ellis
A very tight final game in which Kev threw a six, so charged into my knights with his MF. It didn't end well for them.

Re: Burton Doubles 2017
yes great weekend as always.... and a nice bright airey venue..
4 good games and opponents... altho am still a little mystified by our opposition in the last game who choose to play ten men behind the ball for 90 minutes to avoid defeat. They could pushed players up front to sneak the win they needed in order to get a top three finish and a little painted man on a wood plinth trophy... altho by doing so they rather stymied the Scots challenge also!
