Campaigns for Campaign
The three periods for Campaign this year will be:
Has Anybody Seen JC 81 - 45 BC
The Wizard's Sleeve 865 - 912 AD
Temujin Can 1180 - 1227 AD
900 points, 6x4 tables
Allowable lists and period details below
Where Old army lists are specified new V3 points values must be used

All lists new book One. 900 points from the lists shown below, allowable allies are shown with the parent list.
Troops selected must be from within the specified date range unless specifically noted below
Late Republican Roman - All listed allies except Dacian
Pontic - Armenian Allies
Ancient Spanish
Gallic - Allies: Early German, Spanish
Galatian
Early German - Gallic Allies
Ancient British (No Caledonian)
Parthian - Any Ally (except Kushan cos they're outside the date frame)
Ptolemaic
Early Armenian - Alan or Parthian Allies
Thracian
Illyrian - Use Thracian (not Gatae) list with the following caveats - All MF must be Offensive spear armed - Total LH bases 0-8, Total Cavalry Bases 0-4, Total mounted bases 0-8. No veteran cavalry allowed
Numidian
Later Jewish
Slave Revolt
****Caesar's early career involved being kidnapped by pirates and a small campaign to get his own back - the minor list alterations below are used to represent them
Pirates - Use slave revolt lists with these caveats - No Heavy Foot or Mounted allowed. A single pirate MF BG may be upgraded to armoured superior. Up to 2 BG of pirate MF can be upgraded to superior whether armoured or not. An Illyrian allied contingent must be used. Use the Thracian ally with the caveats as for Illyrian above, also no mounted and none may be upgraded to superior. Their terrain is Hilly or Developed. Whether they win or lose the initiative roll One compulsory terrain piece must be replaced by coast. If they win initiative roll they choose which piece, if they lose initiative their opponent chooses which piece is replaced. The player with initiative does not have to select the coast as their compulsory, they may choose either piece of compulsory, possibly forcing their opponent to place the coast

If your source list has been subject to amendments, e.g. Page 140: TABLE "ANCIENT BRITISH AND CALEDONIAN" Allied Commanders: CHANGE "1-3" to "*1-3", in the official errata please supply the reference

Can we pay the entry fee on the day? If not can we have a bank or paypal account ?
As far as I can see they are only accepting cheques at the moment.
I've e-mailed this query to Darell but had no response.

Wizard's Sleeve Thematic Byzantine
This competition is using version 1 lists amended by version 2 rules for a version 3 competition
I am happy that if using the OLD list books you may use version 2 rule amendments to those lists. For example: 1/2 Lance 1/2 bow Byzantine Cavalry may have the Bw* capability as referenced in V2 rules
Please remember when sending your list in that if it is subject to official amendment to tell me where that amendment is

I have had one list so far. I sent it back, not because it was wrong but because I am kind (He had only used 800 points)
