New tournaments open (Fantasy General II and Strategic Command: World at War)

Post by AlbertoC »

New tournaments are now open for signing up.

The first one is for Fantasy General II.

It is a 3 rounds tournament, each featuring a unique map with different and varied victory conditions. Expect to face new tactical situations and to fight on scenarios never seen before in the single player campaign.

The first round will begin on Monday November 30, and each round will last one week. By the end of the tournament the first three players in the ranking will receive a prize: the champion will receive a $25 discount voucher for the Slitherine store, while the players who end second and third in the final ranking will receive $15 and $5 discount vouchers respectively.

You can join now by clicking here. Our automated tournament system will notify you by mail when a round is starting, and when it'll be your time to submit your turn.

Strategic Command WWII: World at War joins the list of games which support a tournament system, and we’re now ready to start our first tournament. It’s the first game ever in the franchise with tournament support. The tournament will be using the 1939 World at War campaign map.

The Tournament will begin on November 30th, and it will last 2 rounds, each lasting two weeks.

All you need to do is own the game and sign up here, then the system will pair you with opponents and create your PBEM games. You will be notified by mail of when the tournament is starting, and when it will be time to play your turns.

It is a Beta tournament, so there might be bugs. If you encounter any, please report them in the official forum thread and we will address them.
