Field of Glory re-released in a new engine and new content!

The day has come: Field of Glory is being re-released today! Alongside two new DLCs: Oath of Fealty and Wolves from the Sea.

The game has been completely remade using the Unity engine, allowing a greater than ever flexibility and sporting enhanced mechanics. This new release contains plenty of new scenarios and game settings both in Single and Multiplayer, a completely new and functional UI, a greatly improved AI, a new full game replay system, as well as countless fixes and improvements to the data files!

And the best news is that all of this is completely free to all those who already own Field of Glory!

This new version is stand alone and you won’t need to install it on the previous version. It’s also highly recommended that you read these threads to understand what is different and how the transition between the two engines will work:

Please note that this version will be supported in the future and patched: the work on Field of Glory is not done and we’ll continue to work on it and bring you even more content and features.

Oath of fealty

I do have a question. When I managed to navigate to the members page on the Matrix website, it had a reference to a Mac installer. Is there a PC version of the new FOG?

Ignore the Mac reference ( we will fix this), and just click on the Registered link in front of Field of Glory, and you'll have access to both installers, Mac and PC.

Will the d/l be available from Slitherine direct? I have this and all the expansions registered HERE. When I go to the matrix link, It now needs me to register the games at Matrix too to get the d/l?

But I have to agree, while I already registered all my games again on Matrix (as you said, all of mine were on Here, the slitherine site/platform, it indeed was a hassle. Only some of my games that were registered on slitherine seem also to be registered on Matrix. However, in Field of Glory case, the base nor the DLCs were registered there even though it was registered on Slitherine.

There is only one unified site. I'm not sure why your serials are not showing up so you may need to contact support to find out out or you can register them again if you have them. Believe it or not in the long run it will make things better!

The download links are in the members area already so once you have registered your serial you can download.

Sure.
You need to activate them. On your game launcher you should have a button named Serials... press that button and you'll be able to register the serials and and the campaigns will be unlocked.
If your old launcher doesn't have that option then you need to contact us for download a new game file installer for the old version.

Please note, that the two new DLC won't work. Inkw you have only asked for the old, but just want to emphasize this.

I bought Field of Glory with a magazine, I have the serial number, but not I never registered it, now is not possible because it always fails, how can I do to get the update?

I am having a problem with Nevilles Cross scenario MP. I accepted challenge from Stockwellpete. After accepting two identical entries appeared in my current games list.

When I clicked on either I got:

Error: unable to load the scenario

null PSenarioinfo parameter

I'm guessing I must download 2nd on the Grid.

1. The 4th one shows a later Version number. Is that just the standalone and not the replacement for 1.8?

Version v.2.5.02 (7 JUL 2016) is the new engine version. It's not an update for older Field of Glory engine.

1.8.1 is the last update for the old engine version, so it seems you already have the game updated with the last update..
Do you have a button named Serials... in the game launcher screen? If so, you can just unlock the expansion by inserting its serial number when clicking on the Serials... button

It's not clear for me when the installer is asking you that. Use both, one will be the correct and the other one will be invalid.

The confusion came about when a friend said I had to download the 2nd Installer on the list. I took that to mean the 2nd one DOWN from the top, which was 1.8. However he meant the 2nd one UP from the bottom of the list which was 2.5 (The joys and errors of virtual communication!) Thanks for reply. All sorted now. (except I've wasted some precious cap!):
