Can I ask, how did the other game finish? What day?

Thanks for reporting things so diligently!

The development of the game in which I was ally and German Capote was played smoothly and the result is correct.

Hi!

Just so I can verify things, do you recall on what turn the game ended?

Thanks

Hi!

Thanks

End-of-game emails received:

Game Gerifonte/Allied vs Capote/German finish in Turns: 61 (abr 23 a las 4:14 PM)

Game Gerifonte/German vs Capote/Allied finish : In this case I have received two mails of finished game one in turns 62 (abr 23 a las 6:33 PM) and other in turns 121 (abr 23 a las 6:29 PM).
I think this last one may be the right one for finalized game

Thanks!

I believe I can see the correct games in the system now, it seems to have become confused with that last game. I'm not quite sure what's happened! It certainly shouldn't be a 20-0 scoreline. Do either of you recall whether victory was on the 22nd, 23rd or 24th?

Last game (Gerifonte/German)
The turn we were playing was on 22 and we were going to 23. Game finish in sunset day 22. I think

And corrupted game no. 3 and 4: Games in which I am the Allied player are both not playable (I do restart, but this doesn't help) against my oponents Huracan and Scorpio

HBJ is talking about private paired matches he has set up with the random starting placement. I find that if you pair the games both become desynchronized after completing your first Axis move and sending it to your opponent.

I believe the problem only occurs when the games are paired. if you set up 2 games (one as Axis one as Allies) and challenge the same opponent, than both games will work. HBJ, you may want to try that instead of pairing the games.

I want to know how the RNG works for combat results. I am looking at entire games with three standard deviation results consistently, not just a single combat or single day. I like this game but it often tends to get a lot of extreme results and I am seeing things I have never seen with hundreds of hours under my belt capped off by a 15-pip all panzer corps getting one hit (on a tree) while I watch multiple combats with 100% hits. I wanted to suggest a Russian hack but that would be more appropriate for the Moscow game.

Despite the 4-game sets being an error I would suggest that it is not a bad idea to try and average out the luck factor. I don't know how many people have the time and patience factors necessary but sets of games might help. I would suggest that the RNG not have all tens or ones programmed or retest and validate the computations.

I always wish average luck to my opponent which is not to eliminate good or bad luck (which is realistic) but to not have the entire game skewed beyond reality by it.

I too was quite happy with 4 games for the final round.

PS congrats Nappy for keeping me from advancing to the #1 spot and sharing the #3 with me. :)

Hi Alberto

Out of curiosity; how come the in game points were not used to determine winner in the tournament?
Has there ever been a DoM tournament or is that too long/too many turns?

I have just tried to play my turns against HJB and I'm getting the "You are not a player in this game" message again.

Oh, I missed your game turns, OK, that explain it. So we have to wait for technical support ...

Grab: I see now, our tournament games are finished by "timeout"; I am sorry for that, maybe the support will change this ...
