The player on the left will issue the challenge and get to choose which side they want to play.
Please put the other player's user name in the description and make the password be:

This will be a single game, so choose whether or not you want to be Axis or Allies.
For this Round we will play with no restrictions, that means undo is on, weather is on, fog of war is on, supply is on, and you can see the player's movement.
(This will not always be the case but for the First Round that is how it is to be played.)
In the description I have to type not my user name only my opponent's user name, i.e. "Brattslapper"?
Did I understand correctly?
I want to make sure, because all the players have entered their own user name.

Goose, you have to deal with people from all over the world, whose English is at different levels, so please write very precisely. :)
The one who issues the challenge should put their opponents user name in the description.

Please private message or post any other questions for at least the next 9 hours, because I will not have access to my email, while I am at work.

Trying to monitor as best I can

Took my first turn, brought a big smile to my face to see all the 'Bocage Breakout' scenarios on the Multiplayer screen (which I have not seen in quite some time itself) this morning. Another big thanks to goose for setting this up. I've been getting back into Panzer Corps and WH40k: Armageddon single-player lately, but it is nowhere near the excitement you get matching wits against another armchair general.

Remember what is best in life. But have fun while crushing your enemy, seeing them driven before you, etc. ;)

Hope to see some of you in later rounds; that is, if JayTac doesn't crush my Allied Forces before they can even break through the initial German defenses.

goose_2 wanted me to report the outcome of the First Round between myself and JayTac. Using the Allied Forces, I won on Turn 06. I'm rather OCD (at least about my wargaming, not so much keeping the house tidy) so I plan on documenting all my matches, for as far as I get into the tournament. I don't plan on releasing turn-by-turn stuff, since my secret strategy will be revealed (lucky dice rolls!) ;)

But I'll probably be posting an end-map screencap of each scenario I finish, if my opponent doesn't mind.

I issued my challenge to whitescale yesterday and put "warhomer vs. whitescale" in the description.

Whitescale still has to accept, but hopefully we will get to play tonight (CET 18.00-21.00).

Never done multiplayer before, and dont know the map, but I choose axis.

Here's a little graphical help, courtesy of Slitherine, to keep track of the ongoing tournament :)

We're going to update it as the tournament proceeds.

Thanks Alberto

I saw a bunch of Bocage Breakout scenarios still on the board this morning

Hopefully we can get people starting their matches soon

2 have already finished in the first day.

Just incredible

What a coincidence, I just happen to be playing Kiev this morning. One of my favourite maps from the base game, really showcases the multiple playstyles and army compositions you can use to complete the same scenario.

Wish I had saved the replay from my first match. Oh well, I'll be sure to do so in the future - I'd love to see some games posted online from various people after the tournament is over!

My opponent (docsh) didn´t answer my challenge. I placed it yesterday. Maybe I made some mistake, so I put it again a few minutes ago. Any way to make contact with him?

I still see some games set up on multiplayer and as such appears that not all matches have been started, please private message me if this is the case so I can start applying pressure to your opponent.

I have like 2 to 4 other players ready to step into their shoes if they end up bailing on us.

Keep me in the loop, and the best way is to private message me.

Thanks!

Hi guys,
I need help with one tech issue. Hopefully there is already a topic (and solution) for this but I can't find it. I have issues with viewing my opponent's turn. I open the game as it is my turn and I see the first action. However then I see only Internet Explorer "processing" icon and hear only sounds. Is there any possibility to replay it?

I have learned that this happens sometimes because I have too many other items open other than the game, especially if I have just sent an email for some reason.

Just shut down the game and reopen to start the turn over and you should hopefully see everything happen
