Where were we? Gettysburg: The Tide Turns releases this week
The development history of Gettysburg: the Tide Turns has been a rollercoaster ride. When Slitherine acquired the rights to complete the game three years ago, our expectations were that we would deliver the game in a matter of months. That turned out to be impossible and we had to rewrite huge chunks of the code from scratch, taking 3 years rather than 3 months.
Gettysburg: The Tide Turns will be available for PC on Thursday (July 13th).
After a long series of challenging events, we are now ready to deliver the PC version of the game. All backers of the original Kickstarter project will soon receive an email detailing all the granted rewards. At this point in time, there are some rewards that are impossible to distribute. Nevertheless, we came up with a plan to reward all backers and hopefully make everyone who decided to invest in this game pleased and positive.
Stay tuned! Check out the official product page and find out more about the game!

Re: Where were we? Gettysburg: The Tide Turns releases this
Been waiting a long time for this. Even more urgently recently. I responded to your July sale of Scourge of War - Gettysburg and, while I like that game, I find myself willing to play it only on Brigade or Division level. Any higher (Corps, Army) is like monkey rodeo to me.
So, I found myself missing a game that would give me Gettysburg on a battlefield level, with effective oversight of larger forces and a bird's eye view of things. I went looking around on your site for this and was intrigued by the advance word (and long delay) of Gettysburg: TTT. Is this the game I was looking for?
Time and $$ will tell.

I agree! Time will tell if you have ended the drought!

No game editor, no sale, unless files are moddable. That's just me.
Plus, playing Gettysburg on the computer so many years with so many games. And the complete abandonment of Brother vs. Brother still leaves a bad taste in my mouth - which has nothing to do with Shenandoah!
But it's a popular topic, so wish the devs well. Something with more depth than Ultimate General Gettysburg and not real time, may be just the thing many are waiting for.

For my personally taste the simple optic of the units would be a funkiller for me, but thats only my personally standpoint. But a lot of people plays "The operational Art of war ", so this game will also find hits followers.I whish a lot of selled copys.

Is there a replay feature for PBEM games?

Not a PC guy. When will there be an iOS or Mac version? Still disappointed that this started out an iOS game and morphed into a PC game, but I will buy an iOS or Mac version, if you make one.

Outstanding! I've loved beta testing this game and it's super fun to play the hotseat version with a friend. I'll be glad to finally have this game. Simple, easy and fun to play. Finally!

Whatever I may have posted above, I humbly take back. I had no idea the game was only $9.99!
I will buy once the freeze bugs are addressed.
Now, as far as Brother vs Brother...
