Russian 1812 guard : why are they no russian Jaegers in the 182 guard . You already had from 1808 the jaeger regiment ( 3 bataillons ) and the finland guard regiment ( 3 bataillons) used as jaegers as well ? they were at Borodino ( Nafziger Napoleon's Invasion of Russia ) . So why do they not appear in 1812 as they exist from 1808 ?

There is something I do not understand : 6 bataillons of 400 men ( 3 bataillons for the Jaeger regiment and 3 bataillons for the Finland regiment, this regiment being, from 1811 a light infantry regiment and not a line regiment ) , means 2400 men ( let's say 2000 ) , light infantry , formed in one brigade and you are telling me it is not enough to be classified as a brigade ....even a small one ....

In Albert Gyulai's Division, the first infantry unit is shown as "Line infantry, veteran, drilled".
This doesn't fit the standard unit description - it is 'type, training, training' instead of 'type, elan, training'.
I am assuming it should be Line Infantry, Average, Drilled - but it could be intended as 'Line Infantry, Superior, drilled' or' Line Infantry,???,Veteran'
