number of ADCs?

Post by player »

I know that the number of ADCs in the game is based on the number of command points but nowhere can I see in the rules how many this will be?
For example, if I want to prepare figures for the game, how many ADC figures do I need to buy and paint?
Is it 1 ADC per command point etc and where does it say how many per list or commander? Do I need all the ADCs for each command point?

Usually you would use one ADC model to represent each command point. Even this is not vital though, many players use counters. Personally I like ADC models. Depending on how many command points you think your army is likely to have I would probably paint/base 7-9.

Each list tells you how many competent (1 ADC), skilled (2 ADC), or exceptional (3 ADC) you can have. Depending on how you build the army, it will vary. There have been times I've run 2 or 3 exceptional commanders and was hard-pressed to have enough ADCs...a couple Italian and Saxons got brought in that day for the French. :)
