Vokt (axis) vs Plaid (allies) 3.10 AAR

Hi there. After several months out from CEAW GS I came back for a game. It will be against Plaid with which I have already played several times. This will be played with beta 3.2 files so this game will be sort of a test too. Although the list below show main changes to include on 3.2, these are not definitive since as I have mentioned this update is currently under testing:

1. Increased air and naval ranges
2. Slight changes to weather chances
3. Russia can now rail in Romania and Bulgaria after those change to the Allied side
4. Some tech changes (mainly to do with air ranges)
5. Escorts now get XP for being adjacent to convoys
6. XP changes based upon which type of unit you attack. E. g. less when attacking garrisons and more when attacking elite
7. XP awarded is based upon difference in XP level. You get more XP attacking experienced units and less when attacking rookie units
8. Tech advances faster if a tech level or more behind the most advanced country (simulates espionage). Can even advance without labs.
9. Movement allowance for air and naval units now change with techs. Air range is also increased. Used real air range table and simulated on the map to find better working ranges. So rebase won’t happen as often as before.

I will be playing allies this time.

Turn 1. September 1, 1939

As I have mentioned, I will be playing as Allies and my opponent as Axis. Plaid is a good player but I would say that is particularly good with Axis as you can check in a game (played 2 years ago) of which it was made an AAR too. In that game, the Axis brought strong assets to NA which made the allies retreat to Suez line and they had a hard time to expel the axis from Egypt and to advance to Tunis. Submarine campaign was one of the most successful I have seen. Finally, also to remember the strong opposition to 1944 Allied landings in France.

So let's start. Axis turn 1. German forces invaded Poland and took Lodz. They also reached vicinities of Warsaw.
