Troops never start moving

I've been sitting on an old disc of this game for quite a while, and it's been a favorite my entire life. However, while the game runs just fine, the, uh, troops never start moving. You can place them in proper formation and all, but they never start. Not sure what's up with that. Figured I'd see if these forums can be of any help.

you may need to update the game to the latest version, as any old disk maybe a very very old version

you need to have saved the serial into the members area to get or have access to it, then download the game from either in game, or the download area and run it to update it, good luck
