Hi, as requested, system spec etc. to try and understand why in app purchases cannot be made.

ios 6.1.3
available memory 28G
model md371b/a
ipad 3.3

mobile data off (wi fi only)
safari works fine

battle academy user download works

in app purchases get as far as the buy screen i.e. French Campaign but then i am told internet access required, check connection

this may not cover the info you need, please let me know how i can help

Stephen,

Thanks for playing! This error message occurs when we can't access Apple's In App Purchase servers. A few things could be causing this. Could you check these things in order for me?

- Do you have In App Purchasing restrictions enabled? Check Settings -> General -> Restrictions -> In App Purchases
- Do other In App Purchases work in a different game? You don't have to buy them, just check if the Apple confirmation dialog appears.
- What country do you live in? Some countries are known to have IAP outages or problems (if you are in Europe or North America though you are fine)

Thanks, I have some good news and bad news!
I had got as far as the battle of lussac, (lost a couple of times) came out of army camp and the game crashed.
I restarted and took the auto recovery option so got back to the same level etc. and now the purchases work and I have the French campaign etc
So good for me but not good to find out what happened to start with.

Thanks Steve! Let us know if you consistently get any other crashes, but otherwise glad to hear you are up and running.

Your device must have had some problem contacting Apple's servers for some reason.

Yes, it was as if it thought there was no Internet connection. I was able to update other apps during that time though.

Good job there is an auto recover though or the crash could have been painful.
