Thanks. Great stuff. I've downloaded some scenarios that I've somehow managed to miss before.

Thanks very much redcoat. Please note that Scenario 21 - "Clontibret 1595" - has now been updated to version 3 as I discovered an error while checking the other Nine year War scenarios.

I have now completed the review of all my scenarios and hopefully I have standardised them across the various campaigns and have removed any errors and inconsistencies. I shall continue to update the supporting text in the next post down over the next week or so. If you notice any mistakes (there will still be a few, I expect) please let me know.

I play games mostly to create scenarios, but my historical knowledge is lacking. Besides, yours are so good, I haven't bothered to create any in FOG. In other words, Thanks!

Thanks for your kind words, Rosseau. A new version of Crecy should be available shortly and I am also working on the two Second Baron's War battles of Lewes 1264 and Evesham 1265 at the moment.

pete, Cadzand downloaded as Connor on my computer. Connor downloaded as Connor. Please check to see if there was an involuntary duplication or it's just my computer. Thanks for the cornucopia.

My mistake. Try again now, Zeabed. I am still play-testing Crecy and I think I have come up with something better than my last effort. Lewes 1264 and Evesham 1265 are well advanced too.

Will do so. Thanks. A good thing that you're giving Crecy the full play-test treatment, Pete. If anyone can get that scenario right it's you; it is a challenging one for balance, playability and authenticity. I could never figure out just how many different types of French troops were in that battle, or even precisely how many French.

It has been very difficult to balance, Zeabed. The French army has around 900pts now and the English 600pts. I have stipulated that certain contingents of French troops can move on turn 1, turn 2, turn 6 and turn 10 in order to re-create the piecemeal way in which the French entered the battle or the players can agree to waive these conditions and assume that the French delayed their attack until the next day and then attacked with all their army. The French have Genoese crossbowmen (MF and LF), mounted knights, mounted men-at-arms, levies and a few foot knights.

Re: Medieval Pete's "hot one hundred"!!

Post by stockwellpete » Mon May 06, 2013 8:25 am

I have been doing a bit of work on this list in the last few days. I have added all the "Dark Age" joint scenarios that I did with frankpowerful and I have also included four hypothetical scenarios that I wrote when I was researching the Ottomans, Medieval Irish and Teutonic Knights armies. Fornovo, which will be a bit different from the usual type of scenario, is still under construction. And I also have a version of Grunwald-Tannenberg under construction that I need to go back to and finish off - frankpowerful did a lot of work with me on that one so I will post it as a joint production in due course.

I hope everything on the list is working. If you notice a broken link please let me know.

Just to let people know, Slitherine are quite happy to "sticky" scenario designer's lists at the top of the "Topics" section so it is easier for players to find our work. We just need to find a moderator now who has the time to do this for us.
