Re: Something new and exciting?
The reason that I favour 5pts for a win in an incompleted game rather than 4pts is because you can actually get 4pts in this competition when you lose (when you have inflicted 76%+ casualties on your opponent). It all depends on the particular battle, of course, but sometimes you can be quite convincingly beaten even though you manage to inflict 76%+ losses - so giving just 4pts for an adjudicated seems a bit unbalanced to me.ericdoman1 wrote:I haven't specified a 5 at any time as, you can not make 5 pts in this game using the scoring system, I missed that one:)

Re: Something new and exciting?
Yep you have a valid point.
Had a look at all scores and on average (mean) winning scores would be above 5. The mode average would be a 6.
But a 4 vs 2 has been the adjudicated score since round 1. We are now on round 5. The 2 games that hasn't been decided yet will be a 3 vs 3 as I haven't received any email, pm or not a single post on this link and I am not even sure the games were started.

Re: Something new and exciting?
Tiavals (Scots in Britain-later) - 46/43 = 1+2 = 3
batesmotel (Medieval Irish-early) - 26/47 = 1+3+2 = 6
The Irish were able to sieze the one hill on the battlefield and that plus the Galloglaichs and allied and Irish cavalry proved decisive. Thanks for the game.

Re: Something new and exciting?
Myself and sharkall are about two-thirds of the way through our top of the table match. I'm definitely not going to win as I have had much the the worse of the early exchanges (I am 7-5 down on BP's at the moment) but my position is basically intact and I would think that a draw is the most likely result (there is an outside chance for sharkall to win though).

Re: Something new and exciting?
A number of challenges have not been accepted yet.
Could players send private messages to their opponents as well please.
For the future "The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire" consisting of armies and enemies of Rome ONLY, ROR, IF and LT.
450pts, 12 turns, 10 days, fixed terrain, 6 rounds, swiss system and a new scoring system.
Prob July/August.
Finally I think quite a lot of you have joined up but The Temporary League has nearly reached it's maximum number of players per division!

Re: Something new and exciting?
Jonno and me are on turn 7. His turn and Im ahead. My army is at 0 BPs for the moment and I dont remember how many of them.
If this game doesn't matter anymore I give up my game with todd and he can have the points. It's the last game anyway I think.
Cheers
