Londo (Persians) 48/54 defeated Hidde (Indians) 54/54

Notwithstanding the large Persian advantage in protection and troop quality, Hidde pushed very hard and almost came away with the win, as the scoreline indicates.

There was a mass charge of elephants in the centre, which was contained, surrounded by Immortals and Persian cavalry, and ultimately destroyed. But while that was going on, the weaker Median and Bactrian foot on the Persian flanks were being cut to pieces by Indian cavalry and javelinmen.

Jon, I guess it's time for round 2 of Lydians versus Persians?

For those curious:

Jonathan4290 (Lydians) 54/51 fought Londo (Persians) 52/50 to a draw

This eliminated both armies, leaving myself as overall winner with only the Skythians remaining. Yeah, pretty crazy.
