just a side note...i won't claim to be the best player, but i do suggest that my army choice was best based on our rules. the Bosporan army i picked is very nice for a tourny like this because:
1. it has a couple very good ally choices; one gives superior roman troops, the other gives more tough lancers
2. it has access to all troop types, making it possible to adapt it to the opponent
3. it has the ability to build a very high unit count, because it has lots of poor skirmsher and MF choices...which if played well gives a very high morale level

As a thought for future tournaments, i might suggest we adopt a rule or two; we might limit the total foot skirmisher count to 1/4 of the army. we might also limit the max army size to 60... just a couple ideas to consider.
