Create an army for 1000 points but use only 600 points. If both the players have 600 points on their list the game turns to a 600points dag but it still uses a 1000 point map

In a bruising encounter on a rocky field, MikeMarchant's Syracusans (47/56) achieve their first win with a victory over Cunningcairn's Later Colonial Greeks (69/66).

Bad luck, Martin. Great battle.

Best Wishes

You guys remember the film 300, released a decade ago? How could one forget it? Despite, or perhaps because of, its utter historical silliness, I found it outrageously entertaining.

Athenians got a mention at one point ...
Persian Messenger: All that God-King Xerxes requires is this: a simple offering of earth and water. A token of Sparta's submission to the will of Xerxes.

King Leonidas: Submission? Well, that's a bit of a problem. See, rumor has it the Athenians have already turned you down, and if those philosophers and, uh, boy-lovers have found that kind of nerve, then...

Edmund_Blackadder's Carthaginians (48/58) 83% defeated Jonathan (Kyrene) 61/59 100%
Both very close hoplite on hoplite slogs. In the first, the Greeks suddenly cracked giving a very flattering scoreline. In the second, it was very close all the way through. Thanks for two challenging games.

Um, so where are the other guys? Caiko, Edmund, Ulysisgrunt - I hope you haven't all been assassinated by Persians?

If you're alive, there are still games to play ...
