To Tame a Land Redux!

Re: To Tame a Land Redux!
That's my one concern - I will publish the numbers so we can all see what is happening behind the scenes - not everyone is playing the same number of games, but every game is a chance to lose points as well as gain them. I really don't want it to become A vs B, C vs D, etc.

Re: To Tame a Land Redux!
I have to agree that some seem to be playing more games than others but there is no way to prevent this.I have noticed some players are hardly moving and others have jumped into the lead. Its still a great competition though. How about we have a random draw for the next round and we play with the opponents army and they play with ours that would be a challange
Re: To Tame a Land Redux!
I like the random draw, less happy with random army - I am very keen for people to play what they want to play, otherwise it can cease to be fun

Re: To Tame a Land Redux!
Random draw is okay, I can live with random army, but I'd prefer non-random army.

Random draw is okay. I prefer to use my own army.

Battle report 1026
Turk1964 (Saminadads) 30/35 def Tiavals 43/43
Tiavals lost 1 field commander
No camps looted
A very close game that could really have gone either way.
Cheers Turk

Re: To Tame a Land Redux!
I've heard nothing from Tophat or Aristides. If I haven't heard anything by this evening, those battles will be passed over and we'll start the next season.

Hi keyth
Well have had a good review about this and so wondering if I can jump in at some time.
I would imagine when Slitherine opens up the multi, multiplayer that will offer even more options for you.
I have all of the books and prob too much time on my hand so can begin at very short notice if required.
Cheers

Re: To Tame a Land Redux!
Hi Eric,
We could either try to slot you in here, where you may be at a disadvantage as we are quite a few seasons into the campaign, or hop on over to 'To Forge an Empire' which will be starting up very soon.
Cheers

Hey Keyth
How soon do you think you may finsih TTAL? If it is going to be quite soon, then I may as well wait for TFAE.
If you need any help with any neutral battles, then I will gladly assist.
Also mentioned it to hidde so he may contact you as well.
Cheers

Re: To Tame a Land Redux!
TTAL will probably run for a bit longer, but I decided I can run TFAE at the same time. The mechanics are simpler so the scoring/mapping overhead is considerably less. TFAE is nearly at the max players that I want to run with, so book your slot soon to avoid disappointment Will probably be starting just after the weekend due to some RL busy stuff.

OK, we'll call that the end of season and assume Tophat is AWOL for the time being. I'll get the scores and stuff done ASAP.

I will attack Pat (phlewis) with mercenaries - password 'mercs'
I will also attack Tiavals to let him have a chance to revenge the slaughter of his mercs last season - password 'Tiavals'

Gday Keyth . Do we have to use the same Mecenarys we used last time or any from S&S?
