Important Note

A revised Imperium lists terrain document (v6) has been uploaded to reflect that Helvett and Laconia now use the army type(s) of their controlling powers (Palatine Republic and Hellene Empire, respectively) and that the previous army types have been added to the lists of mercenary armies available.

The Clans of Dardas are victorious over the (forgot who I was fighting - UlyssesGrunt's forces).

Clans 38/61 (62%) - Parthians 53/47 (100%)

Too many barbarians of the Clans and too much terrain for the Parthians made it a tough game for the heavy cavalry. Quickly surrounded and then mobbed, the superiority of the heavy horse was never able to assert itself.

Bad luck, Danny - a really tough one for you.

Best Wishes

Mike

A truly humbling experience; resembled what you see in the movies; the brave poorly armed peasant swarming and overwhelming their heavily armed opponents....
Danny
What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

Commiserations but at least they can't counter-invade.

The Realm of Baal is please to report that phase 1 of the Odrysiem campaign has been achieved and the
Gatae army routed off the Battlefield.

Realm of Baal (IDS) 19/47 (40%) beat Odrysiem (Xavutrecht) 63/60 (105%)

Thanks for the game ,

Result
Palatine Republic (69%) 27/39 - Elephant Kingdom 51/47 (100%)

The fanatic indians with their bows and beasts did great but could not resist the mighty legion

Good game

YEAR 7 LATE SPRING

Thanks for your battle outcomes. Map and season report are on the usual link:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qwt0i0fxx0ou ... YEnEf5Ex6a

Five invasions (including three unopposed) were successful and one defeated which means five cities were captured.

As usual I shall assume that successful invasions will be continuing. Next season reserve armies will automatically be raised at the usual cost in any invaded territory where its regular army is absent abroad.

Since Zarces Empire has been invaded it cannot choose to re-invade Clans of Dardas and also Sophene is denied the opportunity to counter-invade Zarces Empire.

Decisions which are still available are declarations of war by Rivers Kingdom, Baktor, Hellene Empire, Sea of Grass – Sophene. If a player wishes to exercise this option please notify me by PM so that I can implement it in the Early Summer announcement.

My move vs. Palatine Empire:
"Push 'em Back!
Push 'em Back!
Way Back!"

Sorry for the delay. Other commitments have intruded I'm afraid. A more pleasant diversion has been discovering the joys of a fun, addictive game called Battle Brothers. Its the first time in years that that I have found a non-multiplayer experience so enjoyable.
