Army List Generator
Hi All
Having slaved away at my PC I have come up with a FoG Rennaisance army list generator which should help with some of the maths
Just follow the link to the badwargamers website http://www.badwargamers.org.uk and then go the Downloads page.
I have done most of the testing but as all the list are not yet published I am not sure if I have covered all the eventualities.
I am releasing this so you can all have a go at breaking it. I would truely appreciate your feedback on this.
Regards
Paul
Sorry if this appears twice.

Thanks for the feedback
I will include this on a later version.
I need to make sure the points system is bug free before adding too many additional features so if anyone finds a problem please let me know.
Also how useful do people think it would be to have a second sheet mirrored from the main list that can be used as a Detached Shot alternative list, or are we happy to copy and paste?

I tried it and it's great.
A couple of suggestions: I tried to copy and paste a BG and it wouldn't allow me to paste because it said the cells were protected. But I could type into the same cells. I can't explain this. But copy and paste is handy if you have a few battle groups that are 4 MF, musket, 2 HF pike, and a battalion gun.
I like to leave a blank line between BGs, but there isn't enough space to do that, so more writable lines would be good. (I have 6 battle groups like the above, plus 3 bgs that are the same without battalion guns, and a few other groups).
Thanks for putting in the effort to do this!

Firstly, thanks for all the hard work - very useful tool.
But, and there was bound to be one , I do find it annoying that I cannot select the portion of the sheet that contains my list and set just that as my print area (at least I can't) and so have to print out a whole load of empty lines.
I'm sure you have a reason, however, it is feedback

I already fed this back. I must admit I did not really understand the reason why it isn't possible to correct the issue. (You can do it on Olivier's sheet, despite many cells having formulaes etc).nikgaukroger wrote:Firstly, thanks for all the hard work - very useful tool.

I would say that this has a high priority for correction because small print is bad for ageing wargamers' eyes.

Sorry Missed Mob in initial lists. It has now been added in V2.7
Can you confirm that there will only be Unarmarmoured Mob, or is there an armoured variety!
Richard - Thanks for organising Usk again this year I enjoyed it, as we are all getting older I have enabled the print area selction on the sheet also.
Paul
PS the V2.6 has a bug so bin it and use 2.7
