Bug - Map:Battleaxe

Hello,

Today i bought "Afrika Kops" and played it to the map "Battleaxe" without any Problems with the difficulty of "field marschal". The patch 1.10 is installed.

The victory conditions for "Battleaxe" are: "Decisive Victory = Hold all objectives" or "Marginal Victory = Hold at least three objectives"

I destroyed in round 15 all allied forces AND i placed on all objectives axis units. After turn 17 of 17 i lost the game because "axis surrendered". I can only klick on "proceed" or "view battlefield". After i restarted the map the bug is still the same. Only difference in the second try: i needed 17 of 17 rounds to destroy all allied forces. What should i do to complete the map?

Btw: in the campaign 39 - 45 most of the names of the cities are wrong....another bug.

Sorry for my bad english - i hope i could describe the problem / bug?

I don't remember seeing this problem during beta, so this is something new. Could you please send me a saved game where you own all victory hexes, and scenario objectives are fulfilled? I'll check what's wrong there. rudankort@rsdn.ru

Maybe it's the English left flank attack in the middle of the game. You need to kill all the enemy units, as far as I remember.

I believe VPaulus is correct. I recall from beta that part way through the scenario, the tactical situation changes and victory conditions are different - this is related in an in-scenario message, though the "victory conditions" screen isn't altered.

A few moments ago i tried this map "Battleaxe" again ... and again the same error. Now i know when die allies you talked about are attacking me and i put some anti-tanks and ari to the town "Sidi Azeiz". The allies didn't take ONE city during their attack from the north-west. they only take the three fields in the desert (10/18, 10/19, 11/18) in the first round,, because in the first round no units from me are in this places.

The allies didn't take ONE city during their attack from the north-west.
But to get a decisive victory, you have to kill all of the allied units in their left wing/NW attack group. Holding Sidi Azeiz alone is not enough. This is conveyed on a message screen during the scenario; it says something like "...must be eliminated in its entirety." If you check the message log you will be able to see it.

Sorry - i though i wrote this already. i destroyed ALL units of this attack group within 3 rounds. in round 17 there are in my third try only 2 allied units left. One unit is in Sidi Suleiman (18/25) and the other in the desert at (23/30).

If I remember correctly..
The attack wave comes in three groups.
So, all three groups would have to be destroyed.

Anyway.. it is being looked at.

Count units with triggers, also as "on the map" if they not appear (because trigger never succeeds)?

Hi all

Battleaxe scenario. I hol all victory hexes (and every city) , and at the last turn it says "axis surrendered".... and the campaign can't move on
????

You've also to kill all the units from from the English left flank attack.

That's the save of the previous scenario, not the Battleaxe scenario.

Anyway, so far there was a player reporting a similar issue. I don't know if it's the same problem or not.

I wonder, because the message log is short.
He didnt has the the order to hold sidi aziz.
And this town is not marked as a target in the map.
EDIT: And the trigger for victory condition asks for 10 axis flags on primary objectives and 1 secondary objective!

Why the second trigger line does not work?
The condition is only turn 6 (begin of axis turn)

Usually I keep my saves from every turn.. but just before the last turn I deleted all previous... I have only the last one. Anywho.. I restarted the scenario and killed every allied unit on the map... and got Decisive win...

I had exactlly the same problem like Kobris.
I played battleaxe from the start again, then I got a maj.vic.
Kobris, try to play it a 2nd time!
I'm from Austria, sorry for my english ;)
