Yes. whether that would have been the correct approach is another matter.

Your point, presumably, being that everything in v1 was The Word As Handed Down By A Group Of Almighty And all-Seeing Gods And Therefore Should Never Be Changed?

Even if the Gods themselves change their minds?

I'm really not sure where your obsessiveness on this subject comes from. It got boring pretty quickly last time round, and my threshold is lower this time ;)

I feel there is now a need to limit the number of falx/rhomphoia men in their respective armies.
There are already limits. That's what Army Lists are for.

Just had notification that a shipment is on it's way to me - looks like a standard form (or perhaps they really have sent me a DVD!). ETA Jan 4th

Why bother? It gives people something to moan about!

Hopefully, the Germans will show their usual efficiency and get the thing delivered prior to the fourth of January.

I would have thought delivery across mainland Europe from Calais to Volgograd would be very quick. There will obviously be delays crossing the channel.

Hmm... Did you get notification when you paid too?

I've had nothing apart from the paypal email confirming payment.

Worried of Cheltenham.

When I paid I received an email thanking me for my order and a receipt of payment email. Today I got the notice that my "DVD" was shipping.

I did. But it came from "Plimus Sales <receipt@plimus.com>" who Slitherine have obviously outsourced their e-commerce to. Might be in your spam filter?

I received the same message - that my DVD shipped 12/20.

The way things have gone with the V2 release, we will probably get DVD's.

Ta Graham. Turns out not to be the spam filter but my inability to give the correct email!! A quick check with Slitherine  and it turms out I'd given them the wrong email address! The order was however kindly confirmed by Paulo and I'm all set to go. Phew!

Mine arrived today, and I am in Mississippi here in the States.

Fortunately, I bought it for myself.

Just an update from the US.
Your shipping folks sent the books through our regular postal service with minimal protective packaging.
I have had a couple of reports of books being very "abused" in shipping...dents in the spine and corners of the cover bent down.

To whom should this be reported directly for replacements?

Those are specially produced "distressed" copies for the novice who wants to look like a veteran gamer. No extra charge for dents and scratches, but pre-beer stained copies are special order only.

I suspect they were sent using Abannan's new packaging app. It means the book is now practically impossible to copy, and you probably wouldn't want to lend it to someone else either. However as long as you can connect the book to wifi a network it will probably appear to have the same sort of qualities and functionality as every other 1990's-era book in your collection.
