This looks quite useful. However when I choose a Book name, I get a "N/A" error appearing in the "List Name" field. Anyone else getting this?
Until you put a number in the page windows

OK I see how this works. Sorry, I had presumed there were hidden databases with all the army list data.

Once I was used to create Warhammer's army list with Lone Wolf's "Army Builder" , does someone know if Sliterine will never create a software like this for editing / checking (for Umpire) lists ?
Something like the "Digital Armies Generator" inside Digital FOG ?
Thanks :)

Or something like the blitzkrieg commander army builder available for an online fee.....or the easy army builder available for fow, both of which charge a small fee.......both only available online....

Olivier created the builder as an individual effort.
I expect there is not enough value in list builders.

Hi everyone

I've had trouble on 2 lists now where I've not got the +1 for cavalry and light horse.

On both lists I've used an ally, 1 to get me the +1 but the other I would have had the +1 without the ally.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Cheers

Being more specific would help Rob, +1 in which calculation?

Hi Phil

In the initiative calculation at the top.

In both the Dom Roms and the Dailami it hasn't given the additional +1 for 10+ bases of LH/Cav.

I've unhidden the calculation sheet and can see it going wrong but it is protected so I cannot alter anything.

This may sound daft but can't you just unprotect the sheet? It may be that my sheet was originally used in open office and that stripped the passords (and protection) out? So open and save it in open office, then go back to excel.

Though I can't replicate your problem

I have sent the unprotected sheet to your BT e-mail. PM me if you are using a different one at the moment.

Hi everybody

Is there any change other than the limitation to 16 BG for the purpose of the army list calculation ?

For an army list calculator on line, try

Hi everybody

In the army list calculator online (Little Army Builder), someone pointed out to me that the type MF impact foot with sword was missing in the menu.
Now, it's OK
Many thanks to him.

Please, if you notice other mistakes, let me know.

I think Olivier Dader and Vincent Auger did the hard work on it.

Yes they did and they should take most of the credit for the V3 one now on the BHGS site

Phil - why the bloody hell are all the costs and points values protected? It might be a good idea to stop people meddling, but it's a nightmare when trying to check lists.

Can you send me the password please?

To stop people meddling, obviously

I'm confused as to why you would want to see the calculations and as to why you would ask for a password in a public forum

And excel isn't that hard to get into

Phil, this is dave_r - you are expecting a reason...!? What is all your years of dealing with him makes you think that there IS a reason...? He is asking because he can...

It's not that I want to see the calculations behind the fields, it's the fact you can't highlight the fields. When you highlight multiple fields this gives information such as the sum of the numbers included within them, which is useful when somebody set's a competition with a theme around numbers of points. It can also be used to check that the points have been summed correctly (and sometimes they aren't).
