Hey Claymore,
what's up?

The warlike Athenians are waiting your Syracusan troops on the Attic plains but no signs of them is detectable.
Is the fleet maybe wrecked on a distant shore in tha Aegean or the soldiers are still entertaining themselves in Sicily with some sluts?

Friend only to the undertaker.

Our battle is underway, with the Athenians huddling in fear on a vast hill - no doubt Nicias awaits the right moon, bird-flight or liver-lobe...

I'll start the reporting since our game is about half way through.

Carthage 20/64
11-12 disrupted
2 fragmented

Egypt 45/78
4 disrupted
4 fragmented

Hopefully there's some Egypt BGs I can't see that are D or F!
Pretty much two opposing battlelines fighting it out. Egypt has more troops on the flanks, mostly archers but my right flank is in shambles and if comming from behind also archers are scary :(
And on my left a poorly placed camp just fell in the hands of the guys with the funny walk...that's why I posted now when the numbers are still flattering :D
Next turn will add 6pts to my 20 right at the start. I fear what it will be at the end of that turn!

The Sicilian sun must have addled my opponents brain or perhaps its that goo they call wine here for as yet he has to move on his start line with the exception of the sacrificial lights who are dying in droves, could it be he prefers the rear look of his "boys" rather than manning up and meeting us on the sun drenched plain where I now stand.....

Euro Athens V Resto Sryra's - Battle Report Turn 1

Both sides were suprised by the numbers of HF Offensive Spears. "Didn't expect that" was the comment from the Athenien gerneral. "More spears that i can poke a sharp stick at" said the Syracusian Commander.

So we have 69 BP's of Athen Spear face only 61 BP's of Syracuse Spear

What cunning battle tatics will be employed - stay tuned
