G'day.
I was playing Panzer Corps this morning and then I had this really stupid idea that I would update. Bad move.
I know nothing about computers, really, nothing. So any how I downloaded and now when I go to play a game I get a white screen.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you for you time.

I fooled around a bit.
I started a new game, white screen.
Then pressed enter and the white screen was still there but the selection came up that you choose for level. ( Sargent, Leutnant etc.)
So the game is there I guess but white screen/ can't see anything.

I think you might have a corrupted installation. Which version of the game you have? Panzer Corps? Any expansion, Afrika Korps or Allied Corps? Any DLC Grand Campaign?

A bit of extra info. The game opens with the tiny screen .

Play, change settings, game manual; etc.

The new thing on this screen is "Download extra content". Is there a sticky on this please? I have tried this but I don't know if I'm doing it right as I have no idea about computers.

Uninstall the game. Locate the folder where you have installed the game previously and delete any file that might still be there.
You can proceed then in reinstalling the game using your CD.
After having installed it, please run the game, and check if it's working.

If that's the case then please download the patch from the link below:

Unzip the downloaded file. Run the extracted file to install the update.

Run the game. Press "New Game" in the main menu. Then, click on the Wehrmacht cross at your left to switch back to the Panzer Corps scenarios and Panzer Corps skin.

Hello, me again.
Well I pressed some buttons and maybe something happened in regard to the download. The game is playing again and I just went and did Poland. I uninstalled and re loaded.
First question, in the little box that I described before it still has "download more content". I thought I did already, is this some thing extra? Now that the thing is running again I wish to ask before proceeding further.
Second question, in the screen shot you posted, the "Allied" icon is in colour, and when clicking Africa Corps and Allied it prompts me to buy more content. Not after any thing free but is this normal. My "Allied" icon is not in colour.

If you press on "Download more content" it will open in your Internet browser a webpage with the Panzer Corps DLC modules. These are extra campaigns for Panzer Corps and they cost $4.99 each package.

Afrika Korps and Allied Corps are expansions for Panzer Corps. They are not also free. The day you purchased them you'll be able to access the campaign and their scenarios by clicking in the respective icon.
