Great, and same here.

Hillman is also posted, pass kingt, as Abbaye is one turn away from being done.

KingT vs Guardsman 9-8 Germans win.

Our tankers require immediate infantry support as we can barely hold the town.

GG, Guardsman, very good fight!

All my other games are up (pass kingt), with Thaon and Bayeux both started.

We have both deployed, and it would be Wegeberg's first moving turn right now. But when I deployed, I got a message that our maps differ. It didn't happen before with any of the maps in the pack. Should we make sure we have the same map before we proceed? Should we restart?

IIRC, Cavehobbit did an edit to Hillman and mounted that version in this thread. So there are two versions buried in this rather large thread. The latest one posted is the most up to date one.

I think the best way to describe our operations to date is that they have violated every recognized principle of war.

In the newly started game against KingT (Hillmann) i get the attached error message – non-matching scripts.
I haven't seen this one before in this tournament.

I abandon the game, and then we must retry. I set up a Hillmann game with kingt as the password.
No big loss. No moves has been made yet.

Can anyone tell what is happening?

PS Just saw that KingT gets the same message. Let's give a new try.

Thanks, this helps.

Okay, so let's make sure we both have the same Hillman map. I'll try to find it and edit the post.

Later edit: so I think this is the map pack that we need (probably that I need? I'm not sure, but will update anyway if that's it): http://slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... an#p457321 from February 25.

I have just downloaded that map pack and accepted your challenge. Let's see if it's all good.

I think it was that version I used already, but downloaded it again, just to be sure.

So it looks like we have the same error. We have deployed units again. We can leave the game as is right now, and redownload both the map from the same place, reinstall, and then complete our moves. But what's the map version then?

Here's the only map pack there is to download. Remember to delete the map pack you had installed, before you install the new.

The change in the two versions is that the old (no longer available for download) had the German smoke bug in Hillman.
