GC45 East, starting the beginning of the end...

Post by Iwfan53 »

For those of you who are interested I am proud to say I finally managed to get a result on Budapest 44 that I could live with (was actually up about 500 prestige after repairs) and am now starting up Goldgap.

I'm sure that I'm ahead of the preloaded core curve since I have 9K prestige and an army full of 4 and 5 star King Tigers along with a trio of five star jets and some four and five star FWs to pick off the planes they weaken.

I figure with considerable use of the save and reload feature (though every time I use it I go back to the start of the mission) it will be possible for me to limp through this and complete my playthrough of the Eastern GC on Colonel difficulty level and hopefully have enough prestige left to get the final double DVs needed to see "Berline Redux" and "Epilogue".

Do you guys think I can do it?

Good luck! The final thrill of completing the entire GC will be worth it. Kinda like a marathon race.

I am at near the end of GC44. Carrying around 40k of prestige on FM.

The Epilogue scenario sort of suck. A bit anti-climatic.

And doing Berlin twice doesn't? I didn't mind the epilogue after that
