Rules
• Field of Glory Napoleonics, with any official amendments and errata released before the convention.

Scale
• 15mm

Table size
• 6' x 4'

Armies
• 800 points, selected from the two army list books, with any official amendments and errata released before the convention. The lists in the rule book will not be used.
• Army lists are due by 19 May 2014. Please send your list to the umpire (pabela@xtra.co.nz) . I will send you a copy of my list after yours has been confirmed. An army list pack will be distributed to all players after the first round of games.
• Army lists must be submitted in Army Builder format (Excel file can be downloaded from http://www.fieldofglory.com/fog_nap )
• All figures must be accurate representations of the troops they depict.

Games
• Two games per day, four games in total.
• Each game is four hours.
• The competition will be in Swiss Chess format. The first round draw will match armies with opponents of the closest date.
• If there is an uneven number of players, a bye worth 25 points will be awarded to the lowest scoring player who has not already had a bye. A first round bye will be determined by random draw.
The award for the best painted army will be decided by the votes of all the players in the competition.

Terrain
• Please provide your own base cloths and terrain.

End of day 1, surf (peninsula british 6mu machine gun corp) and me (1800 austrians) at top of table, but all players pretty clumped together. Excellent venue - cheap beer and great food. Phillip even slaughtered Goldsboro brits!
Now watching blues kicking hurricanes butts, so all is good in the world.

Looking forward to tomorrow's games.

Results of the FOG-Napoleonics competition at NIcon.

1. Mike Haycock – Anglo-Portuguese Army 1810-11 (73 points)
2. Brett Preston-Thomas – Austrian Army in Germany 1800 (72)
3. Philip Abela – German Confederation 2nd Corps 1814 (56)
4. Rob Sadler – Army of the Duchy of Warsaw 1812 (51)
5. Kit Goldsbury – Anglo Netherlands Army in Belgium 1815 (45)
6. Steve Eyles – Army of Italy 1809 (28)

Al Donald (Anglo-Portuguese Army 1810-11) and Kendall Blue (Mixed Nation Corps 1813) also played on the Saturday, giving us two more games on the first day.

The award for the best painted army was voted on by all the participants, and was also a close contest.

3rd Kendall Blue – Mixed Nation Corps 1813 (11)

Thanks to Blair and all the crew from Tauranga for a great convention. See you all in Thames next year.
