Penalty issue

Post by Italianfan88 »

Hello.
Since the last patch was issued, I began a Soviet sandbox game.
I managed to get to the LOK/LK lunar programme, and to perform the first two missions (unmanned and manned lunar flyby).
However, when I tried (after doing the unmanned test first, of course) to undertake the "manned lunar orbital" mission, I was warned that, since I hadn't performed the "manned lunar pass" step, I would get a 3% reduction of reliability (and perhaps I should add that in the mission control screen, the 3% addition scrambled the hardware reliability section).

Hello Italianfan,

Apologies for the delay in my reply. I'll investigate that, do you happen to have a savefile so that I can test my fix afterwards?

Cheers,

For Windows XP, the path is c:\Documents and Settings\Users\Your User Name\AppData\LocalLow\MatrixGames\BASPM. Notice that AppData is a hidden folder, so it might be possible that you won't be able to see it inside the Windows Explorer. If that's the case, please follow the instructions from this link.

The output_log.txt file can be found under the SPM-Windows_Data subfolder from the installation directory.

The savefiles have a timestamp in their names along with the year and period of the current season and they are created automatically everytime you finish a season.

Ah, thank you. Sorry, it was kinda embarassing...

Anyway, I saved the game right after that, so I'm uploading the relative savefile.

Um... so, any news about this? Was there something I did wrong in that game?

Hello Italianfan,

Deep apologies, I got sidetracked and forgot about this thread. I took a look at your savefile and yes, I found out I had a bug in the internal tool that converts our goals spreadsheet into the files used by the game! It's fixed now, you'll get it in the patch I'll be uploading in a couple of days.

Unfortunately you'll need to perform your circumlunar flight again. Please find attached a modified version of your savefile. Load it, schedule a circumlunar flight and you'll be granted the "Manned lunar pass" goal. After that, I can confirm you'll no longer get the advisor warning.

Cheers,

And don't worry, I guess you're full of things to keep track of!
