When you move a unit during the supply phase, possible future targets light up with a red icon. This didn't happen as I moved the bazooka to the hedgerow square on the left from where I should definitely have LOS.

So I wonder is there a fault with LOS across the pond
or is only the back part of the tank accepted by the game as possible target?

I hadn't noticed the 'future' targets light up, only the current ones from the units 'pre-move' position. I'll keep an eye on it but yeah, the square one 'south' of the Bazooka's current position should have LOS to the tank. And I'm pretty sure you can draw LOS to either space of a vehicle so that shouldn't be the issue.

Bren in opportunity fire mode. LOS straight down the road. Next round SD KFZ halftrack casually crossed the road. No Opportunity fire triggered.

opp fire is only for targets in range or high odd's to hit etc i think, as if it was a other unit it would have maybe fired, if in range etc for op fire etc (guess)

smoke can be fired into any hex, on your own side if needed for cover (hint hint)

I believe zakblood is correct. The Bren has a +2 vs Light Vehicles and is at long range (>7 spaces) for a -2. If the Halftrack has a 6 defense, that makes it a long-shot for any effect. In the board game you can take the shot if you want anyways, but I would imagine the PC Op-fire logic will likely not fire (and ‘waste’ it’s shot) for those odds.

The hedgegrow next to the Bazooka may be blocking LoS
Be carefull what you wish for, you just might get it!

With the game automatically showing all possibilities for movement and firing one tends to neglect to count any squares.

The halftrack is more than seven squares away, indeed... even on a roll of 6 this vehicle can't be hit in this instance...

Quite like the screenshot though... :D

You have a LOS issue when targeting the Tank. I have shown the LOS in red and you can see where it clips in the circle. To get an unobstructed shot follow the Blue line. Sorry mate but This game i have found out to be very ANGLE orientated. Once you figure that out you will have a better time. :D
