Panzer Corps: Soviet Corps Release Date

I haven't seen the option to pre-order/buy Soviet Corps on STEAM. Will it be available there on the 18th general release day?

In case I'm way out of line, let me explain: My kittens got on my water bed and had a play day. I have been patching and plugging little tiny pin holes in it for 3 days. I haven't slept. Not to mention, waking up in a wet bed is disturbing to say the least. Any way, I feel like reality is a bit warped right now, so please forgive the question.

If you have Panzer Corps Wehrmacht, Afrika Korps or Allieed Corps installed, you can't change it.

i actually have those all installed on my D:\ Drive (not steam, regular installation)

but Soviet Corps insists to install to Default C:\ Programm Files... will not try to move them after the installation on C:

Yeah, it seems that there's a bug in the installer where it's using the default location rather than your own previously changed location. We're looking into it now and will have a fix out ASAP.

Only installs to C:? Are you kidding me?

It is a bug in the installer, Slitherine is well aware and fixing this asap.

For the time being you can solve this manually with this workaround:

Copying & replacing the files to the Base Game Directory on any drive you have your base game on, D:\ or ED:\, or whatever drive you have the game installed.

If you are buying via STEAM, the game installs to where your steam files incase there is any confusion for people looking to buy the game.

This generates bad feelings from me towards Slitherine. It will effect future purchases. This should have been fixed within hours of release.

As a temporarily and manual solution to start you playing:

1. Install soviet corps to the default: C:\Program Files...
2. Copy & replace those newly installed files form C:\Program Files... to your already existing Panzer Corps Directory (example: D:\games\panzercorps) (make a BackupCopy of the Directory before)
3. Prompt will ask you if folders with same name should be integrated and files replaced. Say Yes for all.
4. Run the Panzercorps.exe located in the D:\ Location
5. Defend the Motherland! Comrade Stalin does not care for any Installation problem excuses!
