Hey there, nikivdd! Thumbs up for your efforts - I did a quick check of your Stalingrad scenario revisions in the editor and there are indeed some minor oversights as follows:

GC42 scenario "Stalingrad Docks": Italian Infantry unit still present at hex (5,6)
GC42 scenario "Stalingrad Ruins": Two Italian Flags still present at hexes (20,19) and (11,23)

A head's up. I am currently busy with GC 43 East. I hope to finish the revision sometime this weekend. It appears that some scenarios might be a bit harder/challenging, because of the T-34/57, a unit which was previously unavailable. I used this unit and the OT-34 (higher rate of fire!), to replace plenty of older T-34 models. The same applies for the self-propelled AA guns, as there are now more different models available.

Hi, niki! This is a great initiative. May I suggest two further changes?

This one was reported ages ago and as far as I can see it hasn`t been addressed yet:
viewtopic.php?f=121&t=36301

Secondly, if you`re gonna do this:
Next update is for GC 42; i want to get rid of the Italian units in the Stalingrad missions.
How about taking Romania out of the Balkan Campaign because it never actively participated in it? I`m referring to the `41 Belgrade scenario. There are several auxiliary Romanian units on that map, including a Somua S35 which Romania never had in service. I propose you change them to german auxiliary units. Also, I think the Romanian officers would be better off as Hungarian officers considering that, unlike Romania, Hungary actually invaded Yugoslavia. This would require adjusting the script and scenario briefing of course. As far as the Romanian cities are concerned, I`d leave the flags as they are.

Also, when you get to the italians, maybe you can add some Romanians where they should be:
viewtopic.php?p=303237#p303237

EDIT: don`t overdo it with the T-34/57. It was made in "very small numbers":

The Italians are already replaced by Romanians in the GC 42 Stalingrad mission, this is already available for download (first post page 1). I wished the Pz 35(t) was in the vanilla equipment roster but unfortunately it isn't.

Concerning the Belgrade mission. I would leave the two Romanian officers, as i have no intention whatsoever to change mission objectives/briefings but i could change all the other Romanian units to German auxiliaries (and get rid of that S-35).
I could decrease base strength of the two Romanian cavalry, so that they would be useless in battle; i would regard them for the sake of gameplay, merely as observers.

I can change the names of the British generals in the Arras mission.

What should i do with the Hungarians in the escape from Stalingrad mission? Any suggestions?

The Poznan scenario has Always been subject to controverse, as its initial version was actually a f*ck up. I see no possibilities to correct this map properly.

Slipped my mind... :D Romania received about 11 T-3 (Panzer IIIN ) and 11 T-4 (Panzer IVG) at Stanlingrad (during September-October). You could improvise with those. It`s a stretch given the limited numbers, but less so than giving them something that was not present for this battle or not in their inventory at all. The R35 tanks btw were not present so don`t improvise with that.
Concerning the Belgrade mission. I would leave the two Romanian officers, as i have no intention whatsoever to change mission objectives/briefings but i could change all the other Romanian units to German auxiliaries (and get rid of that S-35).
The Germans used the Somua so you could just change its flag/nationality. It`s a German unit in game anyway.
I could decrease base strength of the two Romanian cavalry, so that they would be useless in battle; i would regard them for the sake of gameplay, merely as observers.
Given the text of the briefing and the claimed mission objective it would make the most sense if they aren`t full strength fighting units.
What should i do with the Hungarians in the escape from Stalingrad mission? Any suggestions?
I`ll have to abstain from this one. I`m no expert on Hungary and I don`t actually have the `42 DLC.
The Poznan scenario has Always been subject to controverse, as its initial version was actually a f*ck up. I see no possibilities to correct this map properly.
The revised version isn`t better at all as far as I`m concerned. They`ve just renamed/converted the Polish cities that should have been German.
Ideally the scenario should be redone entirely. The very fact that you begin with an assault on Poznan is awkward. Since it`s a small map with few units it wouldn`t require much work, but it`s outside the scope of your project from what I understand. The main reason I`ve dropped my experiment with trying to "fix" the DLC campaign is that it`s too broken to fix and I had no intention to rebuild the whole thing. On the other hand, only some of the arguably absurd implementations from the DLC are due to Kerensky`s lack of research. The rest are actually due to the limitations he faced in terms of available units from the core game. The latter issue can be improved now since the game has progressed in the meantime and I believe this is what you`re trying to achieve here. In the end you either accept the DLC campaigns for what they are and have some fun (in terms of gameplay they`re decent in most parts that I`ve played) or you just avoid them entirely.

I'll start off the requests with an entirely new map for the Poznan scenario. Stay tuned.

New Poznan map/scenario for GC 39.

Scenario parameters, number of core units and Polish units are all more or less the same.
Rudel is also there!
Same mission objectives as original version.
No polish strongpoints, more accurate map.

Let me know what you think and if something should be changed to the preplaced core units.
