This is correct. Add 200 points to the Defend.collier4 wrote:match set up for MacD, pw barb. I added 200 pts to the defence as per instructions, which made it 800 rather than 950.
Does this +200 also go with the N1 battle?Brummbar44 wrote:This is correct. Add 200 points to the Defend.collier4 wrote:match set up for MacD, pw barb. I added 200 pts to the defence as per instructions, which made it 800 rather than 950.
Disregard the chart in the Campaign Instructions.
Set the points to 1200 : 800 - Attack : Defend ish
If you are in doubt of the settings, please PM me with what they are set to and I'll verify.
No. you should set up as German defend with 800 points and Soviet with 1200 pointsskyrider wrote:Does this +200 also go with the N1 battle?Brummbar44 wrote:This is correct. I was able to get the points set to 800 and 1200 as needed. If you have extra or too few points, take the points all the way down to 100 and then back up to 800, this will set it correctly with no extra or shortage of points. Do the same if the Soviet points are off also.Brummbar44 wrote:German Generals may now initiate Skirmishes. All Skirmishes are Attacks (except N1 which are Defend).
From the Medium force size, set the points to 1200 : 800 for Attacks ( 799 : 1199 for Defends) - exception; Soviet S3a gets an additional 100 for a total of 900
(edit: something odd has happened to the points since writing the terms down in the Campaign Information book...in essence, simply add 200 to the Defender/Attacker to make it work).
Morge4 is correct, give the German defender 800 pts. and the Soviets 1200.morge4 wrote:No. you should set up as German defend with 800 points and Soviet with 1200 pointsskyrider wrote: Does this +200 also go with the N1 battle?
The secondary battles do count. For the Germans, they could provide a win if the main attack fails (Germans only need to win one of the two to continue)... and for the Soviets, winning one of the Skirmishes will provide an additional 100 points to be used in coming battles.collier4 wrote:Do secondary battles count for anything on the strategic map? Excellent tip! Thanks!morge4 wrote:I was able to get the points set to 800 and 1200 as needed. Hope you can get yours back up soon and without too much difficulty. Great that you were able to borrow a PC to play BA2 with.Gibrinskii wrote:Sorry folks - I need to replace the GPU on my PC, so I'm using a borrowed computer until then. But I managed to install BA2 on it, and I finally downloaded the campaign. So I think I will be able to play my part, after all!
Cheers!
