Panzer Corps v1.30 Traits: names and abilities

v1.30 Traits: What are the names that enable abilities in equipment.pzeqp
Example: Glider, Missile,NoZOC,MineSweeper

0-missing and important hability: cavalry charge or even tank assault causing fear and panic as the artillery.

1-and This:
CAMO or Camouflage?
This is perfect for Sniper and Skiers, SS Waffen, Rangers, Marines, Commandos ,Brandenburs, Parachute British.

2-and This:
MineSweeper
there is no version for marine mines ?.
With a minesweeper boat, or frogman can also remove sea mines

Example:

3-And This
bonus,
improvement in attack or defense?


4-and This Rate Of Fire artillery, Katyusha, rocket launcher, infantery morter, what effect, upgrades the damage or upload more panic to the unit for more impact if you put or you change the number?

IDS_ABIL_SWITCH Can switch to a different unit type
IDS_ABIL_BRIDGE_ENGINEER Bridge Engineer
IDI_ABIL_BRIDGE_ENGINEER Acts as a bridge when placed on a river hex.
IDS_ABIL_BUNKER_KILLER Bunker Killer
IDI_ABIL_BUNKER_KILLER +5 attack strength against enemy structures.
IDS_ABIL_CAMO Camouflage
IDI_ABIL_CAMO Can only be detected by an adjacent ground unit.
IDS_ABIL_GLIDER Glider
IDI_ABIL_GLIDER Can disembark outside airfields.
IDS_ABIL_GREEN Green
IDI_ABIL_GREEN Purchased unit always starts with zero experience.
IDS_ABIL_KAMIKAZE Kamikaze
IDI_ABIL_KAMIKAZE This unit is always destroyed after attacking.
IDS_ABIL_MILITARY_ENGINEER Military Engineer
IDI_ABIL_MILITARY_ENGINEER Ignores enemy entrenchment level when attacking.
IDS_ABIL_MINE_SWEEPER Mine Sweeper
IDI_ABIL_MINE_SWEEPER Clears a minefield with a single attack.
IDS_ABIL_MISSILE Missile
IDI_ABIL_MISSILE Missiles cannot be resupplied on a friendly airfield.
IDS_ABIL_NO_ZOC No ZOC
IDI_ABIL_NO_ZOC Does not project Zone of Control to adjacent hexes.
IDS_ABIL_PARATROOPER Paratrooper
IDI_ABIL_PARATROOPER Can paradrop from air transport on any free hex.
IDS_ABIL_RADAR Radar

If someone has a list of new skills and old, to add the post to write it, because I do not see any info about it, and it is very important for any mod.

I hope to more ideas or info thanks....

Hello bcnkor2, I've made a list of the unit traits with a brief explanation, I hope this is a complete list but I cannot be sure 100%. If there are any questions just let me know.

Unit Traits

beng: bridge engineer, allows other units to use this unit as a bridge to cross rivers.

backfire: used to flip the unit icon when firing (used for British portee anti-tank guns).

bonus: unit is an SE unit and cannot be purchased normally; these units are awarded randomly.

camo: unit can only be spotted when an enemy unit gets adjacent to it (used for minefield).

captureflag: inverts predefined class ability to capture flags. Infantry/tank/recon/AT lose it, other classes gain it.

fortkiller: unit has +5 attack strength bonus when attacking structures.

glider: used for gliders.

green: unit always starts with 0 (zero) experience, even if scenario settings tell otherwise (used for Soviet conscript).

kamikaze: unit dies after making an attack. Used for German V1 and V2 weapons.

meng: unit ignores effects of entrenchment when attacking.

minefield: used for minefields, which have special rules (camo, no spotting, take 1 casualty each attack, always inflicts at least one casualty).

minekiller: normally minefields lose only a single strength point from attacks, but a unit with this trait will (AFAIK) inflict kills according to normal combat damage calculations.

minesweeper: unit can clear a minefield with a single attack.

missile: air unit does not refuel on friendly airfields. Used for German V1 and V2 weapons.

nopurchase: is not listed in purchase menu.

noupgrade: cannot be upgraded.

noreplace: cannot be replaced.

nozoc: unit does not exert zone of control (used for minefields).

para: unit can be parachuted from air transports.

primary: used for switchable units to indicate the main unit that is used for purchasing, upgrading, deploying, etc.

radar: unit gives air units in spotting range a +1 initiative bonus.

reconmove: inverts predefined class ability to use recon type movement.


Traits which have no effect:

alpine: no effect, used for mountain units, is represented by different movement type.

close: no effect, used for infantry, is now a class bonus for all infantry units.

carpb: (‘carpet bombing’), no effect, used for level (strategic) bombers, possibly what became the ‘Strategic Bombing’ class bonus for level bombers to reduce prestige/turn flags neutral.

lsup: ‘lower (reduce) supply’ , no effect, used for level (strategic) bombers, is now a class bonus for level bombers.

fixedt: (‘fixed turret’), no effect, is replaced by a class bonus for AT units.

rott: (‘rotating turret’), no effect, is replaced by a class bonus for tanks.

I came across this old post and I'm curious about this part. Have these been removed from the code? Or just don't work because the class now receives the bonus?

A quick example: could a tac bomber be given the "lsup" trait to reduce supply even though it is not a level bomber? Anyone know?
