Got the second ticket re-funded, I'm afraid.

Hi all,

Sadly, I have email Paul earlier to explain that we have even numbers in FOG R and therefore it would be difficult to accept his entry at this stage.

However, that said, here is the official R&R for next weekend!

Simon LeRay-Meyer Qin
Paul Kitcher Later Louis XIV French
Robert Medcraft Hungarian Kuruc Rebellion
Marc Roberts Later Swedish
Stephen Stead Tuareg
Isabel Stead League of Augsberg Anglo-Dutch
Kevin Johnson Vietnamese
Keith Spedding Qin
Peter Cross Qin
David Burrows League of Augsberg Anglo-Dutch
Alasdair Harley West Sudanese
Will Denham League of Augsberg Anglo-Dutch
Nigel Emsen Mongol
Bruce Rollett Later Russian
David Parish Savoyard
Lynette Maxim Hungarian Kuruc Rebellion
Ray Boyles Later Russian
Andrew Kitcher Late Swedish
Brendan Morrissey Later German States
Adrian Steer League of Augsberg Anglo-Dutch

Some popular choices, some favourites, some oddballs - the latter mainly from the usual suspects!

See you all there.

Will,
The LoA Anglo-Dutch should do well. If your dice are good you should be able to shot off any mounted and against the foot you are shooting 6 dice at close range. Remember the bow armed foot loss their first two hits while everyone of your hits count. Alright they may force you to test but with the proper back up you should past most of the times.

I feel sorry for Nigel against all those effective foot armies. Less see if he gets into double figures over the whole weekend. He is right though he will beat me.

Kevin/Tim

Are you going to publish the first round draw before Saturday or do we have to wait until then.

The draw is entirely in Tim's hands. But I'd make you wait

If there is going to be a bye. Can we please have the draw published before Saturday so that the unfortunate player does not have to have a "silly o'clock" start only find out no game on arrival?

Looks like we are going to have a bye, sadly. Marc has had to drop out, and Paul is ill so can't join after all. Unless anyone has a friend who can come at the last minute we are going to end up odd.

Does anyone volunteer to have a lie-in on Saturday? Before volunteering, a bye at Warfare is NOT 25 points. You get a temporary score of 13 (for draw purposes) and then we replace that with the same score that you get in the next round. (Apart from the final round, for which we do give you 25).

Tim,

I was planning on coming to the show on Saturday so could make up numbers then - and I may be able to do Sunday.

Happy to just play whomever would get a bye so they get all their games as I cannot say if I can be there for the whole thing.

You'd be very welcome Nik - we hardly see you these days! If you do want to at least fill in the bye, please come along and say Hi to Dave Mather, Kevin and myself on Saturday morning and we'll fill you into the space.

Do you know what the theme is and do you have any army to fit (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/272 ... 0THEME.pdf). That said, at this late stage and if you are just filling in, anything will do. :)

Cheers - I can do an army from the theme, Hapsburg Austrian Imperial.

I'll pack the army and bring it along then. Obviously if you get somebody who can commit to the whole comp please give them the slot - there is a good chance I can make both days but don't want to say for sure until I actually know (which will be sometime on Saturday). If you can make sure I'm down on the list for getting in early please it'd be great :D

Happy to help :D

Has fallen quite well for me really - back interested in gaming and the FoG:R update so actually getting some games will help that as it'll remind me how things work on the table.

Be good to see people I haven't seen for a while as well 8)
