Order of Battle: Blitzkrieg - Check the screenshots
The development of Blitzkrieg is going great and we’re getting closer and closer to release. Order of Battle: Blitzkrieg is the new expansion to the Order of Battle saga and it will feature the mighty Wehrmacht for the first time ever. It’s also accompanying a big update to the base game, introducing a bunch of new, free features.
The actual release date will be announced shortly; but until then, why don’t you check these new screenshots?

Beautiful, as war goes. Just a few leftover palm trees here and there. We'll overlook those.AlbertoC wrote:Do you like what you’re seeing? Please let us know what you think

Almost missed those palm trees until you pointed them out, so no biggie ... the suburbs of Warsaw, huh? They replaced the urban tiles with fresh, appropriate ones as a rule, I commend that.
Re: Order of Battle: Blitzkrieg - Check the screenshots
The palm trees and the Asian stuff will be fixed, naturally! Those screenshots are from a work in progress non final build.

I can't await it!
Warsaw: It seems as you can't cross the river (so easily). I like this.
Maybe to be crossed with a tank like ' VI Tiger ' which was (at first) delivered with snorcel.
There seems to be a great focus on tanks. Cool!
Go on. I love OoB and am awaiting Blitzkrieg.

Re: Order of Battle: Blitzkrieg - Check the screenshots
I'm glad that they decided not to go with the Nazi swastika, using instead the iron cross of Imperial Germany. Sure, the swastika would be more realistic but if it is going to upset people, why go down that road? Especially these days, when the swastika is taking on renewed vigor and meaning with hate groups around the world. I'd just as soon not have to look at it in a game that I am playing. That sounds incongruous, I know, in that I am playing a game about war. Still, it is just a game and the swastika is unsavory and not needed in order to enhance my enjoyment.

I really hope that the release will be Western architecture and flora.
Re: Order of Battle: Blitzkrieg - Check the screenshots
That's already confirmed, European village tiles have been added. The palms are now eradicated

I'm afraid that's a misundertanding. The part you quoted contains explicitly "...that they decided not to go with the Nazi swastika"
