Does everyone take a different army from whatever book we end up with?

Here's a run down on the tourney. All armies will be 600 pts. or less. no armies to have more then 600 pts., not 601 or 603, you must stop at 600. This is the Honor syastem, any more and you can be disqualified.
You go to the 1000 pt.army but build only to 600 pts..
You may pick any army you want out of the books used except for the Swiss or the Christian Nubians as I think they are way to cheap for such strong units,You may have them as allies.
You may modifiy your armies according to the army you are fighting.
Your army cannot have more then a Quarter(1/4) of its units being light troops.
Armies should have no more then a 60 unit total make up.
you must play everyone.
At the end anyone who are tied must have a playoff.
Also the winner is responsable for recording the scores.
Scores should be in, allenduce's Goths 63/100 beat Okie's Byzantines 100/100, type format.
I think that about covers the Tuornament rules.
It looks like the Army books will be Storm of arrows and Eternal Empire.
So pick your armies and let me know so I can make a list.
Also PLEASE try to play your games a quikly as possable since there will be so many to play.

If there is anything I forgot then let me know here and I'll try to take care of it.
PS Since there are so many battles being fought you must keep score of your own win/lose just in case I miss something at the end.

i sent an army request...you want us to post them so that we can see what's taken?? i'm not afraid to go first...i'll take later germans from SoA....
now; in the league play each army is only chosen once, each player actually requested 3 different armies in order of preference, and would get one of them (so we didn't end up with 8 seleucids or something)...that's a bunch of work for the organizer--and keep in mind we are not playing for hardware, heaps of money, or world rankings...strictly fun (and maybe a wee bit of bragging rights)... so i'd suggest we pick openly but try to avoid duplicating?? if someone near the end can't find something fun (and remember, you have great excuses why you're getting stomped on all the time then)...we can flip a bit coin or something...or just have a dupllicate or two...Eric, Cunningcairn, Okie, what do you think?

Everyone gets to pick whatever army they want. like in our first Tournament. If that means a lot of the same armies, well civil wars can be fun too!

I love the Welsh, but they are only feasible if I pick very crowded terrain. Are there any rules about terrain restrictions, or do we only play on mixed fields?

I really sugest to use only one book. It is obvious that if SoA and Ete are on the table, almost nobody will choose a list from Ete. In the case of Ete the rule about skirmishers can not really apply... And an another suggestion? Why not to use groups with pair matches? That way the list that everyone choses will not matter.

Well to the point that no one wants to play EE, then i guess it doesn't hurt if it is included (i suspect that there may be a soul or two, so why not just go ahead with your proposal.) both books... endeavor to spread out the army choices but don't worry if ther are a few duplicates??
