Profile in Courage (1943)
by bru888 (Bru)
Description: The effectiveness of PT boats in the Solomon Islands campaign was substantially undermined by defective Mark 8 torpedoes. Nevertheless, PT boats did achieve some success against Japanese shipborne resupply efforts, dubbed "The Tokyo Express," operating in New Georgia Sound ("the Slot"). Relying on speed and stealth to offset their frailty and lack of firepower, PT boats contributed in many other ways to the success of the campaign. The bravery of their crews is a story that needs to be told and remembered for, truly, "They were expendable."

Arracourt (1944)
by bru888 (Bru)
Description: Arracourt was the largest tank battle involving U.S. forces on the Western Front until the Battle of the Bulge. It has been used as an example of how tactical situations and crew quality can be far more important factors in determining the outcome of a tank battle than the technical merits of the tanks themselves.

The Great Manchurian Offensive (1942)

Description: The Nationalists, since taking JinZhou, have stocked up enough soldiers for a major offensive. A huge battle between Japanese and Nationalist forces subsequently occurs. The numbers involved are very large. This is the sequel to BeiPing 1940.
This is a huge map, so it may be slow/laggy.

Description: At this stage in the war the Japanese seek to dominate the Coral Sea and cut off supplies to Australia. The key to this is the capture of Port Moresby and the occupation of Tulagi island to protect their Eastern flank. Carrier forces would be necessary to do this. US Task forces 17 and 11 along with Australian naval units supported by Southern Pacific Air Command are detailed to stop the invasions and destroy the Japanese Carriers.

Middle East Oil War (1946)
by edward77
Description: WWII ALTERNATIVE HISTORY. Losses at Pearl Harbour and Midway put the US on the defence, switching all their resources to defeating the Japanese which they acheive by 1945. Germany does not invade North Africa or the Caucuses but consolidates its hold over Europe, applying extra resources to the Eastern Front, taking Moscow and stablising the Front at the Volga. In the Middle East new large deposits of oil all are discovered, currently controled by the British . The Axis, badly in need of oil, as the Romanian Field were destroyed during the Russian retreat, launch a full scale invasion. The US now decides it is now time to intervene. The race is on for possession of the Black Gold!
