Ok the incessant questions about updates are pretty annoying but this comment was brilliant!

PC 2 will not match up to OoB unless it incorporates logistics/supply-maintenance-replacement linkage requirements.

I don't understand anything "fuselets" was trying to say?! The only point I was trying to make is that war game without logistics are games of ATTRITION, not modern maneuver and "Mostly" capture.

Meh... sorry, as cool as this game is, we've got it, and it's free, it's called Open General. So... maybe... you guys can scale this game to that the size of the world? (I mean larger than anything anyone has done before or since, with road and rail systems, with bridge's that can be blown up.) Maybe make something no one has made before, a turn based game with Hotseat (hopefully) That has a cool in depth economic and research side to it? Maybe have events added that could also be modded with ease by the community? Maybe even have some unique units that COULD have been built in large numbers but never were, like the PZ 1000 Ratte, or the Neubaufahrzeug. But my hopes will be dashed aside so I won't bother to ask you guys to try to innovate. What we're more likely to get is the same old, move units from square A to square B, and this is the most optimal route to take with the most optimal units to use. so I stand by my Meh.

Although, and this is just me spit balling here, can we have more units and maybe the ease and ability to access them with a paint program, cause if anything, I'd love to buy this game for the sprite's alone to use in future mods for Slitherine games. =3

Same for me. While many players are still faithfully adding their wishes, suggestions, ideas, complaints, etc for a sequel, it is met with too much silence.

Oh my ... such good timing.

1st: went through a whole list of games being deep discounted on Steam, basically a shotgun approach, getting all the basic games and very happy to find such as "Fields of Glory". Actually, trying to find something that was very close to the "work flow" of Panzer Corps. (I was into "Panzer General" PBEM in the 90s. But more? Avalon Hill's "Panzer Blitz" in 1972!) Glad I didn't spend too much. Looking forward to this! List it on Steam so we can pre-order?
2nd: very attracted to "Panzer Corps Gold Bundle" earlier today. I had most of those already, but ... even discounted ... old wine in new skin?

So: very happy to have found this!

see you on the field

Well lookie there...I step away for 3 years only come back to a new PC in development?!?!? Ye Haw! (Although this thread reads like I should have come back in another year). As many have said, I'm a PG, AG, PG2, PG3 original player. I actually liked the attempt at PG 3-D but the game had many faults, including a constant freeze during the plane animations. I wrote the off to my ancient PC at the time. Then, by the time I upgraded my PC, the game was too out of date to run.

So far, I scooped up every PC game that was released, even though some versions are yet to see any gameplay (Looking at you Eastern front). I will certainly give this one a look. Hopefully the single player campaigns are there in depth. Not much of a multiplayer myself.

I actually just ran through PG on the PS1 at the end of last year and really enjoyed myself all over again. Hard to replace the original, but PC sure brought most of the elements from the original into play. But just as I said in these forums before PC came out, we (okay I) would love the old "pop up" battle cutaway like the original had, especially if the graphics and action were brought up to date. I'm probably the only PG veteran who enjoyed that feature, so I don't ever expect to see it in PC2...but I can wish... :D

Good luck devs!!
