Resized my screen, now I cannot see it

I tried to resize my screen in windowed mode, now it is stuck as a line. I cannot expand the screen at all, even after multiple re-installs. It just remains as a gray line. Any ideas how to fix this?

pc version?

site version setting is in your doc's folder, delete that and on a new install and start it will remake the file

Steam version, PC.

I'll try to find that file, I deleted the whole thing last time I did an install though.

if not, post a report

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

Alright, working on getting that report for you. I run it, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with panzercorps.

I'll look into it, but I don't think that will help with anything. I have over 100 hours played with no issues previously. It was working perfectly fine just a couple days ago, and I changed no settings. All I did was resize the window.

A few more details. When I launch the game, if I go into the task manager and maximize the game, I can see the splash screen. From there, if I Click on anything, I just get a bar on the side of the screen I Cannot touch.

yes you have quite a few hang errors in your report, so also check the Anti Virus logs as something in the last few days has altered something that now makes the game not load, a clean install and wiping the folder clean as shown will put the game back to the default settings, which worked before, so it's a hard one tbh, as something not right, but without being in front and seeing what you see it hard to say.

but just delete the game folder in your doc's will remove the settings so should default back to normal tbh

I'll keep working on it. I'm attaching a file that shows what I See when I try to launch the game. That blue bar on the left is all I can get anymore.

just make sure when you uninstall and reinstall the game exe isn't left running or still in the task manager

Verify Integrity of Game Files

reboot steam and or reboot the pc after the uninstall, make sure totally the install folder in steam is 100% empty and also the doc's one, just back up any saves and retry, this time after a reboot of both and see if that makes any difference to the game install and it working etc

Well I'll be honest that I don't entirely know what happened, but I uninstalled and restarted my computer before reinstalling. When I started it again, the blue bar was a tiny bit bigger- just enough that I could move it and restore it to the size I needed. So problem solved. Strangest thing that I've ever experienced on this computer.
