The D-Day Sale is here! 30% off on WWII games!

Post by AlbertoC » Wed Jun 06, 2018 12:51 pm

It's June 6th again, which means it's time for our D-Day sale!

June 6th 1944 marked the start of the largest amphibious invasion in history - we choose this day every year to offer a hefty discount on all our titles set in World War II.

How does it work?

Starting from today until June 10th you have a 30% discount on a selected list of games. You can get the discount by entering "D-Day30" in the Coupon code field in your store Cart. The offer is only valid on the Slitherine and Matrix stores.

That's presented is the least appealing way you could possible do it. Just a list of links, not a single image or description. You can very easily do a lot better. People aren't going to bother if you don't.

The news looks like attached file on three different browsers, so I imagine it's supposed to be like that.

Sent an email to support. I have tried Chrome, Edge, Firefox and my Iphone. Nothing works. I have not changed any settings and have never had this problem before. I also tried using the Matrix website (I really want this game) but no joy.

30% off! wow!
I had been waiting for a sale and thought I probably would have to wait until Christmas sale before I could snap up TOAW4 (me so poor :( )
I've been wanting this game since it came out and now I got it I will die happy.

i hope the guy having problems with paypal gets it sorted.
I used paypal on the edge browser and it worked fine first time i tried so maybe the problem is with your actual paypal account so i would try getting in touch with paypal about it.

I figured out what is up. I am trying to purchase Desert War 1940-42. It is listed as being included in the D-Day sale. When I use the code D-DAY30, I get the 30% discount but the transaction will not process. If I remove the promo code and want to pay full price, the transaction will proceed. Is this game on sale or not?

Hi guys

we've tested it and the coupon works on the games where it is valid from the list. If you have a specific example of a game let us know. Desert War works here. The code you enter is D-DAY30. We also created 8 variations of this in case people made typos and they all work.

If you are having an issue let us know exactly which game and exactly what coupon you are typing and we can try and repeat as it all works here but please let us know what doesn't work for you.

Thanks

Are these PC only games? I'd really love to get Heroes of Normandie for my new ipad, you know the one I had to buy because if I upgraded the old one my beloved Battle Academy games wouldn't work anymore. By the way is HON 64 bit?
Thanks

@Pomdunor
Please contact your bank/credit card company and check if they are allowing transactions to Bluesnap.com and matrixgames.com.

Is anyone still playing PBEM of BA-2 Eastern front? I would get it if there were an active group playing still. Let me know I think the sale is over tomorrow.
