Re: Super Army List in FOG2
In my favourite period there are two armies that I like to use frequently
1 - Achaean League (the last one 146bc ish) Decent Pike troops with adequate supporting foot, I havent lost a game yet with it (using TT Mod & Rise of AI).
2 - Boioitian (the one that has the deep Hoplite units), as above, a decent core of good quality foot and up to 5 or so huge phalanxes that are not so much an anvil BUT that are a very good 'sponge' for absorbing & repulsing enemy assaults.
I hope that helps

Re: Super Army List in FOG2
You must be looking at the aggregate chart from seasons 1 and 2, because there were no Indians or Indo-Greeks in season 2.Mirek69 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 9:16 am My type based on the II season of the league:

Following the "massed non-combat archer" nerf, it is unlikely that Indians and Indo-Greeks will do quite so well in Season 3.
Also, you need to be aware that a lot of the armies in your list are what we might call "high skill threshold" armies. (Carthaginians, Kingdom of Soissons, Romano-British, Scots-Irish). These armies rely for success on the skilled use of mediocre troops. They are not a formula for success in the hands of beginners.
Then again, no army is really a magic formula for success.

Is 1 or 2 in the army list? I ask 'cause I can't find any of them.TimDee58 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 9:09 am In my favourite period there are two armies that I like to use frequently
