Core Save - Import???
How do you "save" your core in BK, PK, SandS??? And how do you import it in to your next DLC??? I am sure this has been explained in some thread but can not find....
Can not find these functions on any game screens I have come across...can you only "save" at the end of the campaign??? Assume you can only "import" at the start of a new campaign DLC???
But where are these buttons to be found????

Re: Core Save - Import???
When you complete the last scenario of the given DLC, you will be asked to export your core. Click "yes", and when you start the next DLC, you'll be given the option to import it back.

Here are some visuals and God help me with this many images in one thread in this forum; I hope it doesn't turn into a monkey rodeo!
Here is the end of the Blitzkrieg campaign; click the Core icon to start the process:
This is where the core file is stored:
Here is the beginning of the Panzerkrieg campaign and how to import a core:

Nailed it! Nine images posted without needing to edit. Booyah! Who is the MAN here?
Anyway, remember that only with campaigns specifically linked by the designer can you export a core from one and import it into another. For official DLC, this is indicated by lines and arrows drawn between campaigns on the menu screen: Blitzkrieg to Panzerkrieg to Endsieg, Sandstorm to Endsieg, Morning Sun to Rising Sun, and Boot Camp to U.S. Pacific. I'm not sure about Erik's stuff; he mentioned that he was thinking of splitting up his German Grand Campaign into smaller campaigns and linking them for core export/import, I think.

Actually I think that does not happen anymore. Either it's a bug or has been removed after some update.
Do it like this:
Yeah, that part still works.
EDIT: Bruce was faster. And hey, didn't I get a warning before the submit, if the thread has been updated while I was writing a post - in the good old days before the forum "upgrade"?

Re: Core Save - Import???
I might, but while attempting such a feat, I would surely tremble to the core. Ha, get it? "Tremble to the core?" Ha, ha, ha, ha. Ah, me.GabeKnight wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 1:58 am
But what would you have done if I didn't work at first try? Edit it? Seriously? You would dare to hit the edit & submit buttons on a post with more than one image?
You have no idea what I am talking about, do you? But that's okay, as long as I amuse myself.

You're right. I'm mostly struggling with idioms, figures of speech and expressions. Rotten to the core.... Tremble with fear....
I often mess them up even in my native language...

Re: Core Save - Import???
Specifically, did Erik link his campaigns in order to allow importing core units from another?

I would also like to know the answer to that question.

Having worked closely with Erik, albeit from a distance of 5,840 kilometers, I can assure you that he has linked the cores of various campaigns, particularly the ones that comprise his former Germany Grand Campaign.

Re: Core Save - Import???
Indeed, it works. Thanks
Re: Core Save - Import???
I had the red "wehrmach" icon and when I pressed it, my core force displayed on the left no "export" tab or button
