Re: The Rally Point (discussion and questions)
In response to these disgraceful accusations and slur upon my good name, I categorically deny having or have I ever suffered from scurvy, my fruit and vegetable intake satisfies dietary recommendations.
As for any other statements by these scoundrels …… unfortunately, I am unable to comment on operational matters at this time.

Apology received from Yaitz331 . . .
Sorry I dropped out without notifying anyone. A combination of a difficult test and needing to get my laptop fixed resulted in me completely forgetting about the tournament. I'm really sorry. I've sent the people who I stiffed private messages.

devoncop (Sertorius-Spanish) defeated Morbio (Bosporan) in a see-saw contest 63% to 38%.
The unexpected resilience of outnumbered Scutarii on the Spanish right held up enough of the Bosporans to allow the rest of their forces to be overrun by the Spanish Legions and warbands.
Thanks to my opponent and all my others in this competitive Division this season !

And the lesson is...losing a game can be almost as much fun as winning a game...even a loss to the dark forces.

Re: The Rally Point (discussion and questions)
You can also learn the most from a defeat I've found. My first MP match was against devoncop, and that gave me enough XP to jump 3 levels in Skirmishing. Though perhaps I should have invested more of that in Rough Terrain Exploitation based on how things panned out with Sunny and Gen Shapur.

Given the record of Geffalrus compared to my own usual mediocrity I am now realising how Dr Frankenstein felt......

garymann - Ostrogoth 493-561 AD beat mkjhartmann - Scots-Irish 477-846 AD 40-3
To be fair, it was a very flat and open piece of Scotland, so good lancer country. Mike was unlucky with the terrain and with a more representative piece of Scotland would have performed better.

lydianed (Assyrian) defeats MikeMUC (Persian) 62-41.
Great game which was very close throughout. The persians occupied a series of linked hills and the Assyrians formed up opposite. The Assyrians made headway through combined chariotry and cavalry and steering clear of the persian immortals until the very end. Well played.
