Post by trey18 »

Can a game purchased on Steam be registered in Slitherine's Members section?

You can purchase direct and then register on Steam though.

Yeah, I was trying to figure this out as I own a bunch of Slitherine games but I bought them all through Steam and it looks like none of them have keys assigned to them. So we cannot register becasue there is no way to track the program? Or do does Slitherine use a volume based key for Steam sales? I was trying to figure out the rub here.

Thanks.

buy from the site, any of the 3 and you also get a steam key, if it's on steam now or at a later date, buy from steam, game is for steam only, and key is embedded, same as buy from GOG, key only works for GOG version, so while it maybe sometimes cheaper to buy from steam, because of how they work out some's locations etc and money exchange etc, buy from the sites is the better choice overall if you wish to have a none steam version at any time at a later date, imo
