Hi Nick,
what version of the army lists are you using?
I've had a couple of questions to which version is being used for Warfare.

Re: Warfare 2019 Theme
Nik, trusting that you will use the following 'interpretation' regards Cavalry on making a CMT which was applied at Devizes and the Oxford rounds the this year.
Per Ben Jones:
Currently Cavalry on making a CMT and if in a line, ie one deep, can make a 180 degree turn, move up to 2MU and then make a 180 degree turn to face the original way.
I will also allow them to do the following (As its less movement than the CMT gives them and seems strange they have to do the second turn if not required)
Move up to 2 MU and then make a 180 degree turn. Make a 180 degree turn and move up to 2 MU.

This is sensible, very pertinent to the theme at Reading, and appears to been well supported by players this year. It does give cavalry the chance to operate as it should, especially on the smaller tables that are in vogue.

Re: Warfare 2019 Theme
Good collection of armies. Shame its an odd number. Anyone know someone who could come in at the last and make it even??
Look forward to the first round draw.

Re: Warfare 2019 Theme
If there is a bye it would suit me to take it Saturday last game as I am due to be back in brum for a show in the evening so would have had to have a truncated last game anyway.

Is it really an odd number? I do not see Nik Gaukroger on that list. I thought Nik was the playing umpire and we had 10 entrants?

Re: Warfare 2019 Theme
Good question, it isn't in the Tournament Rules, rather to my surprise! Standard Warfare rule is that you get 13 as a temporary score for rounds 1-3 (so you go into the next round with a bland average score) but that is then replaced with whatever you score next round. Essentially, rather than being gifted 25 points you have to earn it. in round 4 we give you 25 points anyway (this shouldn't affect the destintion of the Wyverns, because the player who gets the 25 will be lying last going into r4).
However, if you usually do something different in FOG R competitions, I am happy to go with the consensus. (Usually if I ask 9 wargamers I get at least 10 different opinions but the Renaissance was a period of enlightenment, so maybe FOG R players are the exception that proves the rule!)

Re: Warfare 2019 Theme
Also, Chris Bennett - which club are you part of? Need to check so we can get the draw right!
Re: Warfare 2019 Theme
It used to be the average winning score on that round.

Re: Warfare 2019 Theme
At other tournaments it was the average score for the round, rounded up, so 10-13 depending on how many games finished. If all finished ie. all totals added to 25 then it would be 13, if all games didn't finish ie. all totals added to 20 pts then it would be 10, meaning that after the first rd they would be in the middle of the pack, and the rounds after that they wouldn't jump up too high to scew the draw.
